  1. In the 8th grade I made one in Shop Class out of mule shoes. Each side was 4 welded (brazed) together, 3 end to end and the 4th flat to mount on a 1x slab of Barn Cypress. Think these days a shop teacher would have those plans laying about. R.I.P. Mr. Rich

    9mm AR15

Now that's what I'm talking about. Good build.

    9mm AR15

I've got an orphan AR15 lower and was thinking about a 9mm upper. What's the good, bad and the ugly on these? Drop in mag blocks vs the pin in? Perfect for a SBR I think.
  4. Happens. Try the Birchwood Casey flat black pen Birchwood Casey 15102 Super Flat Black Touch Up Pen
  5. No, No, use blue. I think the red is permanant.
  6. Carry some ammo just in case. If carrying Glock 27, I take 2 Glock 22 mags in a pouch as back up not pretty but 30 rounds for SHTF.
  7. Careful, Machine guns are like Lay's potato chips. It's hard to have just one. I hope not to get in trouble here but a man in Jackson (not me) has an MP5 (HK SP89) with a registered sear and suppressor FS. Search Bowers' SubGuns.com make him fair offer. In state form 4 easiest way to go.
  8. Welcome Love 10mm. Like a .40 magnum. Ammo pricey, don't shoot it much unless really stressed. Had a Colt Delta, good gun but found a witness full size with 15 round mags. Bonafide hand cannon, closest you'll come to Col Cooper's Bren Ten.
  9. You've made three good choices, although the ar-10 platform is very heavy. Decide what is a very good price and them spend the next three months shopping, buy any one you find at a great price, shoot it if it's not for you, sell it and if it was a good deal you shouldn't lose on the experiment. I bought a Garand, love it but don't shoot it. Then an M-1A, good shooter and then a FN-FAL. The FN-FAL never did anything for me, think it's going to the next gun show and will be up for adoption
  10. I don't think you need to notify ATFE of Caliber switch if the conversion is a drop in and can be switched back without modifying the firearm. Only if a permanent alteration to the gun.
  11. Both gun shows are this weekend Nov 14-15. I don't which to attend. Anyone else going to either?

    Trunk Gun?

Always carry long in trunk/behind seat/etc. Rust is a big concern. Shells will turn various shades of green also. Store them with this in mind.
  13. Welcome. And Greetings from Shag Rag. Uh, your not Kenny McNasty?

    EAA Witness?

EAA Witness = Tanfoglio = Jericho = Baby Eagle Best CZ Clones. That Said P01 CZ is a good deal if your still shopping.
  15. Congratulations on your purchase. You know its funny how many on the left have spent years denying the existence of God, now claim he is alive and well and living in the Whitehouse.
  16. Here I'll Start AC556 SCAR Stocked I really need a new camera.
  17. Heard there was a gun show in Dyersburg Oct 17-18. Anyone from West TN going?
  18. That's Herr Direktor Godwin, King Willie's lap dog. Bredesen has done a good job IMHO until this fiasco, bowing to the arm tristing of the two MPD-s, Metro and Memphis.
  19. Driving south back into Covinton today on the northside of town, I saw a sign "Guns and Ammo" in the parking lot under a large John Deere windmill. It was inside the Feed Store/Western wear store. Selection was small but was told they just started selling guns and expecting more this week. I saw two AK's, price was good, and I wish had the cash for nice blue/case hardened Urberti 4" .45 LC. Maybe next time. Anyone else been inside or noticed?
  20. Wrangler you could open carry/conceal carry as a the owner of a business at that place of business before HCP. Most liquor store owners, Pawn Brokers and Jewelers have for years.
  21. Where to shoot Class III in W. TN besides the road side dumps?
