  1. Nothing in particular, as long as they are bars, and not too much more than spot. I'm not really into the fancy coins and such. Just want to have a little silver to trade just in case. Private mint, don't really want anything from any country as well.
  2. Also, most of the websites I looked at are sold out of the 1 ounce bars.
  3. I was looking online, but some have minimums that I wasn't willing to meet. I'll check those websites out though Rusty, thanks!
  4. Do any of you know of a location where I can buy silver bars locally (Hermitage/Nashville)? Not really fond of pawn shops, or coin shows. Any place you guys find reputable? Thanks!
  5. Judging by the information you gave me, I have a cylinder bore, so I'm good to go. Thank you very much Sir! I appreciate it!
  6. My Wife has been bugging me for a shotgun for a while now. I got her a Remington 870 Express 18inch for Christmas. She wants to be able to dress it up, I figured that was probably the best bet, looks like there are lots of aftermarket parts. It occurs to me that I don't know a damn thing about shotguns. She wants to be able to shoot 000 buck, and slugs out of it, but I don't know what kind of choke the 870 express has, and which chokes could handle that type of ammunition. Here is the kicker. She likes this crazy ass Winchester "OMGWTFJUSTHAPPENED?!?!" zombie/bear killer ammo that has both slugs AND 000 buck in it. http://www.winchester.com/Products/shotshell-ammunition/supreme-elite/pdx112/Pages/S12PDX1.aspx Any guidance on chokes would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
  7. Does anybody know how long these events last? I would really enjoy taking all of my family, but I don't know if the younger ones will be able to handle more than a few hours a day in the sun.
  8. Thank you Sir! And holy crap that's going to put a dent in my ammo stash.
  9. I really want to go to this. I don't know **** about shooting past 10 yards. I've been looking everywhere on all the links provided. I don't see how much ammo is required. Anybody know how that works?
  10. $1250? Ouch. It's pretty nifty, but I rather get another AR for that kind of money.
  11. HAHAHAHA! While you are there, punch him in the face for me. Tell him those stupid ass commercials need to go.
  12. I read an article a few months back about two 19 year old kids becoming millionaires by selling surplus ammo, and weapons to the government. They would buy up lots of AKs and ammo left over from when Russia invaded Afghanistan. They'd buy it for pennies on the dollar and sell it to our government "as new" so they could give it to the ANA troops. They never mentioned counterfeit weapons or parts, but they talked about some really shady stuff they were selling our troops. I'll see if I can dig it up. This is not the article I was referring to, but this is a good one too. The Stoner Arms Dealers: How Two American Kids Became Big-Time Weapons Traders | Rolling Stone Politics
  13. The Bart Durham commercials make me want to stab myself in the face. My blood pressure skyrockets when these commercials come on because they are beyond annoying.
  14. I posted a thread in the classifieds, but I'm not sure how much traffic it's going to get. I would appreciate any help in finding a home for my Black Lab. Here's the link http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/non-firearm-classifieds/56672-black-labrador-male-4-years-old.html#post723183
  15. Picked it up on Tuesday morning. Single player is alright. After I finished the campaign I regretted buying the game. I then played the multiplayer and was blown away. I stayed up until 6am playing. I haven't had that much fun playing a video game in a long time. I really enjoy the bigger maps, and vehicles.
  16. I've got a P229, P220, and P226, love them to death. I have just never had a problem limp wristing the gun, until I went over to the left hand, and shot 200 rounds. I guess my hands started getting tired, and my grip got weak. It just didn't occur to me since I shot normally with the right hand. Really appreciate the help guys.
  17. I just thought of something. I was shooting left handed drills when the FTE were happening. Is it possible to cause a FTE if you limp wrist?
  18. I took my Wife's new, never been fired, P226 to the range the other day. I put a couple hundred rounds through the gun, but I found that approximatively every 200 rounds (give or take) the ejector was not pulling out the spent casing. The gun fired normally, the slide went forward, and then backward normally, but the ejector didn't catch the casing, and left it in the barrel. The next round would begin to load, and the new, unpsent round would get jammed on the feed ramp right under the spent casing, causing a failure. I was shooting Federal Champion, 9mm FMJ 115 gr. The extractor was clean, and didn't looked damaged, or misshapen in anyway. Is it possible for the extractor to bend the casing in such a way so it doesn't catch when it goes to eject it, or do I have a bad extractor? I figured if I had a bad extractor I would have more FTE, but what the hell do I know. Any help, or comments would be appreciated. Thanks guys!
  19. This sounds like a good time! I would love to go. Let us know when you get back.
