  1. The only thing I don't mind being taxed for.
  2. You win the internet. Right after that feller Jackdm3 and the many HCP badges all over his body is done with it.
  3. You Sir, win the internet for today.

  5. Tell your Son thank you for his service. Our family appreciates his sacrifice.
  6. I didn't even think about that. Thanks dude!
  7. Thanks for the advice guys. I'll revise my post in the classified section to see if I get any bites.
  8. I've decided to trade in my AR-15 to get a handgun for the wife. From your experience, is there a particular gun shop in middle Tennessee that you prefer to trade guns to because of the trade in value? Maybe you had a good experience with a trade in some where? I understand I'll get more doing a private sale, but we want the handgun sooner than later. I also understand gun shops need to make money, so that's no skin off my back. Anyway, kind of excited that the wife wants to get her HCP. Suggestions?
  9. Dude I would have fainted like a 15 year old girl.
  10. Say, you didn't happen to follow me from California did you? I thought I told you people to leave me alone.
  11. Hot damn. I'm an XD guy myself but she's purdy.

  14. Do you know if they ship, or if they have a website?
  15. Thanks Okey, I think I pretty much figured it out. I sanded the sides were the pins slide through the receiver and it feels smoother and less stiff. I also had the tails from the hammer spring UNDER the pins for the trigger instead of resting them on top, I'm sure that had a lot to do with it too. Thanks for the offer Okey.
  16. Yeah, sounds like I just need to use it some to get it to smooth out. Thanks a lot for your help Hidalgo.
  17. Well so far everything looks like I did it right. However, on a few videos I watched people just slipped the trigger in and out. I can't do that with my trigger. I have to push it in really hard. That, and it actually scratches the sides of my receiver when I drop it in (push it in).
  18. Thanks for the link. I'll have to pull it apart again and make sure I put it in the right way. This is my SHTF rifle, so I was sticking to the regular MilSpec trigger. How is the reliability of the RRA trigger?
  19. To add to this, I just feel like I want to keep pulling the trigger farther back. I have the standard DPMS trigger that comes with the parts kit. If this is normal, are there any triggers out there that will let me pull farther back on them?
  20. On every gun I have fired, the distance the trigger moves backward has seemed perfect. I just feels fluid. However, on my AR-15 the trigger just doesn't seem right. The distance the trigger travels backward seems really short. The trigger also feels stiff. I have done a function check and everything works just fine. But I'm a little worried about firing it before I'm sure it is working as intended. I built the rifle myself so I don't know if I screwed something up, and unfortunately I don't have any other AR-15 to compare the trigger pull with. Thanks for your help guys!
  21. That is the one I originally picked, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I then saw the Green on Stainless steel. It was the ugliest one in all the pictures, but in person it looks awesome. So I went with that one. Luckily my wife is going to get the all black one so I can switch the slides around when I want to be fashionable.
  22. HAHAHA! The sheepdog does not want to scare the sheep.
  23. Like BrasilNuts mentioned, the barrel is kind of long. It's hard for me to conceal, but I'm working on it.
  24. I can not tell you how comfortable this gun is to shoot. I absolutely love mine. Not to mention if you carry two extra mags you're almost carrying 60 rounds. You can hold down a small Somali gang with all those rounds.
  25. LOL Wow. I hope you, or nobody else actually listened to him or her. If I'm following their logic, might as well not carry a gun.
