Norma makes some absolutely phenomenal ammunition. Quite hard to find locally these days. GLWS

Man that looks great. Now I need to find a rear sight somewhere online as I don't have the predecessor.

you hit the nail on the head. the rear sight really is a problem for me. maybe I'll replace it soon

One thing to note though is the RXM has a much better grip angle than all Glocks do. It also uses a FCU similar to the P365 so you swap grip modules around. They are getting close to releasing G26-like and G17-like grips. I bought into the Bodyguard hype and it has been a letdown in comparison to the hype but it shoots fine at <15 yards. But it is a fine shooter.

I agree. MSRP is actually $1,449.99 but I've seen a couple retailers list them for $1299. Definitely going to wait a little bit to pick one up.

Understandable. I guess this is sort of a P-01 gen 2. I have a 75 Compact and if its anything like the P-01 then getting one of them would probably frustrate me just as much. I do appreciate the new Carry having a direct mount optics cut rather than the plates the Shadow 2 Compact uses. The trigger I've seen mixed readings where some reviewers say its your standard CZ trigger while some claim <4lb SA and ~7LB DA. I was planning on picking up a Compact at some point, but I prefer keeping my rear sights for cowitness so I'll probably get the Carry knowing it doesn't have as good of a trigger as any of the Shadows.
-
The RMSc footprint would include optics like the Sig Romeo 0 and Holosun EPS. You would probably need a plate for the RMR.

CZ just launched their newest compact model, the Shadow 2 Carry. Borrows a lot of features of the Shadow 2 Compact but with FPB, decocker, P-09 nocturne sights, black grips, and RMSc direct mount instead of plates. MSRP $1,449.99. Thoughts?

MC9 is g2g. I carry mine and I've got lots of range time with it. Only malfunctions I've had so far was due to hard primers and a couple limp wrists. Love that thing. It is a bit small though if you've got monster hands. The MC9LS or MC9L utilize a substantially larger grip about the size of a G17. 17+1 capacity for those models, 12+1 for the OG.

Welcome! I also lived up north for a few years about an hour and a half from Canaan. Glad to have made the decision to come back home 6 years ago. -
As am I. I wasn't really expecting it to be an issue until I shot my first box of 50 through it. Mine likes to shoot left of center so I have to aim a bit right to shoot straight. One of the reasons why I opted out of getting a CZ P-10M. 7+1 capacity in the age of double stack micros turned me away for sure. Otherwise I would've stuck with the CZ platform as a whole.

It shoots like a champ. The rear sight is awful wide so making a shot at 15+ yards is much more challenging than I thought it'd be. <10 yards it is a boss. I've really got to train with it more just like with my Canik MC9. I can do some relatively quick splits at 15 yards with that and I can do 25 yard shots pretty nicely too. If I can get the BG 2.0 in that ballpark I would be very happy with that.
-
The grip. the backstrap is hollowed out and incredibly sharp. The grip texturing is fine, but there is a thin line at the bottom which is raised and sharp also. It is circled in this image here.

I recently picked up a BG 2.0 and I find it to rub me raw. I carried it a couple weeks ago and I'm still healing from where it tore into me. It may be a wise idea to file down and grip tape the bottom area of the grip. Overall I think it's a decent little thing, but comparing it to my Canik MC9 the difference is between the two is almost negligible. It is a little thinner and smaller but those irons are hard to get a read on. Might end up being a safe queen.
