Don't run it through dry either. Put some Hoppes or similar on the snake before pulling through. When clean, put some gun oil on it for the last pull through. This will help preserve the barrel. The reason for going from the chamber end as Redd33 stated is to protect the crown of the barrel. This is true of any firearm. Good luck.

Has some tearing at the hinge · All original papers including the “proof” target paper · 3 magazines all OEM. 2 with pinky extensions · My estimate of appearance is 95% · Included Galco slide holster. (never used) · Set of aftermarket rosewood grips. I purchased, and immediately concluded that the black plastic originals looked better. But they are yours. I’ve shot this very little during the years I’ve owned it. Excellent pistol with a great history. I’d mention the James Bond thing, however I’m sure I’ll get called out for it since he never actually owned one in .380 ACP. I agree with this. I shot cowboy action (SASS) for a few years, and those folks are particular about anything leather, as was I. There was a member of my club who specialized in custom manufacturing anything you wanted in any style or color you could imagine. You paid a pretty penny; however, the workmanship and one-of-a-kind approach really worked. The benefit from your perspective is no inventory and all custom orders. If you can hook up with a local SASS group and get your name out there, you could do well. As noted above, cranking out holsters and laying them out on a table at a gun show isn't going to work. If you do good custom leather work and earn a good reputation within the cowboy community, you can't go wrong. My thoughts. Good luck.

Favorite pistol currently (subject to whims and fickleness) Canik TTI Combat. Great trigger and a natural balance not found in other semi autos I own. Looks really cool too, as a bonus. Coming in at #2 would be my Ruger SP101. Not much you can say bad about Ruger revolvers, or anything else they manufacture frankly. Probably have a different opinion after the next range trip. But thats what's fun about shooting

I used it in cowboy action side matches. It is accurate and an extremely fun “old caliber” lever action rifle to shoot. · In very good condition some light scratches on the right side of receiver I tried to capture in photos. · Has a Marble Arms peep sight mounted on rear and what looks like the original on front. · There is a dovetail for the original buckhorn which I do not have. · Will include the original box, however, it’s in very, very bad shape. Thursty, For what it's worth I run a Ruger RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor for 1000-yard competition. One of the best "lower cost" LR rifles out there in my opinion. I reload for it however if you are getting into Long Range which I suspect you may be, my RPR really liked the off the shelf Hornady 140 grain ELD rounds. (81500) Just throwing it out there, good luck with your search.
