  1. Aaaaand that's why i carry a .44 on my hip.
  2. She's a beauty, no doubt. Unfortunately it's got about a grand's worth of gear that i don't want with it!
  3. I'm guessing there's a mixture of everything from 125gn to 180gn. Some milsurp, Barnes, Winchester & Remington. Some FMJ, some SP. All carefully packed in a 5 gallon bucket. It's a damn good bucket though! Lowes branded & everything! There's 150 rounds total & all i know about it, is that it's all factory stuff. NO RELOADS. If anyone can use it as range fodder & brass, I'd take $120 for the lot.
  4. Original post edited..... I'm now actually shopping.
  5. I'm giving serious consideration to buying a sorta dream rifle of mine. I have had a years long hankering for an M1a/M14 & I'd really like to see what, if anything, is out there & current values/prices. I guess this is a bit of a fishing thread.... My only must-have is that it's got to be a wooden stock. I know there are different models available, in different configurations & barrel lengths, but as long as it has a proper stock, I'm probably ok with it. I do have to move a few things before i buy (unless it's an honest to god bargain) so there's no guaranteed sale here, unless you're open to trade. If you have something that fits the bill, please let me know! Thanks. EDIT: OK, I've raised the funds (very productive morning at the gunshow!) & I'm now ACTIVELY looking for a Scout Squad. Preference is still a wood stock though...
  6. I need 17 pieces of brass. PPU would be ideal but I'm not picky. I've got 183 loaded & my OCD is pinging like crazy when open that 4th ammo box. Anyone?
  7. Monstrum Tactical. I really wish i had something you need!
  8. I've certainly had worse! 3 of the 285gn Prvi at +/- 2400fps, into a See-Hair over 3/4" makes me happy! Bring on Cape Buffalo season.
  9. Well, i reprofiled & refinished the damn stock.
  10. It's worth a shot.... Anyone have a Bold trigger lying around to fit a Husky 46/M96/38? I'm trying to find one with the built in trigger block safety because I'm cheap & i REALLY don't want to spend Timney money! Boyd's used to sell these, but don't have them anymore & the only one i can find online is in Hungary.
  11. Doveses & Duckses & Gooses, oh MY! BUMP & open to offers.
  12. Ultra reliable, very solid shotgun. It's not in perfect condition & it has been well used. There is some freckling to the receiver, a 2" crack in the forend & some swelling around the buttstock. I bought it 11 years ago & it had been stood in a flooded basement. None of these flaws affect its function whatsoever, & the forearm crack is barely noticeable. I had a silver mid-rib bread installed 7 or 8 years ago. 3" chamber & I have 6 chokes to go with it. Rem Imp Cyl Rem Mod Rem Full Rem Full (steel) Bailey Mod (installed, patterns far better than the Rem) Trulock .675 Turkey (tungsten) I've shot hundreds of rounds of sporting clays with this gun & killed a truckload of birds with it. Cleaned meticulously after every outing & the has system O rings replaced annually. It has literally not once malfunctioned. She's a beautiful gun with a few miles on her is all. $650 seems like a very fair price for this, taking the faults into account.
