  1. Toby Keith. That name brings to mind all his big hits...some humerous, some patriotic, but all sang with emotion and sincerity. I believe Toby Keith put out his love for this country and it's military right out front in everything he did. I may not have agreed with all of his political views, but that's not important. Toby loved this nation. That was never in doubt.

I, along with so many others, will miss him. Rest in peace Toby. You deserve it.

I just buy what I want/need. I very seldom give any thought to where it was made. I’d rather not buy crap made in China, but that would require a lot more effort than I’m willing to put in it.

I wish I could say this wasn't me, but after going thru a period of trying to buy only US manufactured products...I have fallen in with the crowd.

Price and availability. Those are the keys. Case in point. The once All American Walmart has become a shill for imported goods. From clothing to foodstuffs. Almost all furniture and household goods are imported.

As has been said, it is so difficult these days to ignore the price on items we want. Inflation has taken a major toll on the "Buy American" movement. Not saying I won't attempt to do it, but even finding American-made products is getting to be difficult. I would prefer that wasn't the case, but seems to be just a sign of the times we are living in.

If you do label checks...and I still do...it's absolutely frightening just how much we import vs what we manufacture here any more. From basic consumer goods, to foods and medications, my layman's guess is that if we don't source 80%+ from outside the continental US, I'd be very surprised.

Sadly no, but the general with him is just as awesome as he is.

Full Semi-Automatic? LOL! Former Army? I'm glad he's out.

  5. Will remember you in prayer, pop pop. Just got out of the hospital/rehab last week myself. Doing the rehab therapy is key. Must be done to recover.

Origionally had some surgery scheduled to remove a kidney stone next month, but after the last 2 months, I think I'm gonna wait a bit before that one.

Round #2 looks to be starting here now.

Nothing here yet. Cloudy and 34. I'd like it to say there.

I don’t know anything about her, but I rarely turn on the TV and keep up with actors even less.  I’ll watch it sooner or later and if the agenda if too in-your-face, I’ll turn it off.  It wouldn’t be the first time.
On the other hand, if it starred Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin, and Rosie O’Donnell, I wouldn’t even turn it on.

And yet...I still find Susan Sarandon an attractive woman. lol.

That is gorgeous.  I just sold my 1998 unfired 92/96 combo and a Brigadier Elite out of necessity.  I other circumstances, I would have been getting this from you.

Didn't that Combo come from me? I seem to remember it. LOL. Perhaps one I should have kept. Would have made a great set with my others.
