I always get a laugh when I go to Costco and watch someone trying to get their newly purchased 65" TV into their Toyota Camry . . .🤣

Isn't that just amazing! You buy a small car for a reason. Then try to load it like it's big truck!

Some people just don't understand the concept of "volume" in a smaller space. Dangerous commet coming. My wife is one of those. She cannot judge the size of anything! No jokes please. She married me anyway,

This was Burley , my buddy and my other child. I raised him from a puppy. His mom was a Jack Russell and his father was a Black Lab ( imagine that situation with a step-ladder LOL) . He passed away a few years ago at the age of 17. He watched my son go from Kindergarten all the way through graduating college. He was my buddy. He rode in my lap , watched over my family and was just awesome ! The picture of him with the pistol was not meant to have him in it but he kept laying in front of the gun and it turned out to be one of his most majestic pictures. I love you and miss you Burley !

Reminds me so much of my Molly. The poses that is. Molly loved to ride. Didn't care where we went, just got to get in the old truck and lean agains me or lay her head on my leg. She rarely hung out the window. That just didn't seem important to her.

Lost her to cancer, not quite 2 years ago. Still hurts. I miss her running out to greet me. I just pray I'll be worthy enough to find her again in Heaven.

That's all. If I look at more of these I'll be crying and have to explain it to my wife. But she understands.

I've always believed that an automatic rifle was more about the internals than externals.  I don't own a bump stock--nor ever will--but I'll support those who see them as an edge in a firefight.

Never saw nor felt the need for me to own one. Did have the opportunity to fire one. Wasn't really impressed with it...but after have been around real sub-guns at shows; I thought myself a bit better informed than most touting the greatness of the bump-stock.

Yes...I know I'm an oddball, but I really don't like the looks of the Competition model. JMHO

Aside from the weight savings, what benefits are there with this model over the standard?

As long as the Government stays out our business, I think at least one of mine will want my small collection of shooters.

@hipower, I am available for adoption, though I’m probably near your age. 😉

For a small(relatively) fee...I might consider that. I need a child around to do my chores!

Well, you were the one who gave me my first “hit”. But @KahrMan has helped keep me addicted. 😎

He's got everything on me! Age. Looks...well maybe not the looks. And the funds to buy and enjoy such wonderful toys and sell them to others when he tires of them. 😉

I see more wheelchairs than you'd imagine every year at the NRA Convention. Most venues there is plenty of room to navigate. The worst was Louisville, no way I'd try to get around at that one with a wheelchair.

That's what I based my comment on. That and Nashville. Both horrible for people with mobility issues.

Any type of refinishing or modification will reduce the value of it.Your gun, your call.If you’re leaving it for future generations that’s something to consider. If not, gold plate it.😂

It's surprised the heck outta me...but only one member of my family interested in things like slug throwers anymore. So I'm holding a few in reserve for a cousin and his son, but the rest I plan on selling over the next few years. I hope. If we don't all get reamed by the current gubment!

  9. Again you do this! Every time I buy something else...you bring this back out! LOL! Just about had me thinking of a road trip again! And I don't do much of that anymore.

Hope it all goes thru this time.

  10. Yep! That's a nice one. I've considered trying for one, but...have too many now. Considering having my Dad's Remington-Rand spruced up a bit. It's in very good condition for it's age and use. Just a bit bland looking next to my others.

Rest assured that wasn’t their intention, but I expect you’re correct.

He’d make a good piñata at the next NRA convention.

Would love to go to the next one. Just to see the difference in talk from newer leadership.

Unfortunately, I could not even begin to walk the convention floor with my feet and legs. My wife said take your old wheelchair along and use it. LOL!! Can't you see trying to navigate that crowd in a wheelchair?
