The problem with driving down is that they aren't putting out their best rifles anymore. Go to the CMP forums and look at the store reports. Lately, they haven't had any service grades in the stores and the field grades have looked more like rack grades.
  2. Thats one of the reasons that I like Brit shows so much. They aren't afraid to kill off someone just because of their name. And yeah, Brits don't even call them seasons. They call them series and generally have two series per year, a spring and winter series.
  3. I haven't caught that one yet either. As for primeval, it has been renewed and a new season will start sometime in 2011. Still sucks that they killed most of the main characters but as long as Abby and Conner are there, it will still be good!
  4. I would almost agree with you if it weren't for the fact that the full rifle is 100% AR on the bottom end. You can swap 5.56 uppers onto it and you cant on the MP. I know that these won't be for everbody but they are cheaper than the ATI uppers that I have seen in town and knowing that they are from CMMG means that they will be good quality. It definitely fits my needs even if it doesn't fit everyone else's.
  5. I love BBC shows. One of the best that they cancelled was Primeval. I'll definitely check this out.
  6. Got an email from CMMG today regarding some dedicated .22 options. Check it out. The Quebec-A .22 Evolution Dedicated Rifle uses a Mil-Spec Upper & Lower Receiver with ceramic finish and is 5.56 Upper Receiver Compatible, meaning you can use any standard 5.56 AR upper with the Quebec-A’s lower receiver assembly. The Sierra and M4 LE .22 Evolution Dedicated uppers use mil-spec Upper Receivers with a ceramic finish, allowing you to turn your current 5.56 AR into a more cost effective plinker or training rifle.
  7. That was Blake and he can do that all he wants because he is an amazing pistol shooter. When he did it in practice, he hit the bullseye.
  8. Well, that's what he claimed after he missed the target.
  9. I mean, seriously, how can you call someone out about being a "rat fink" when you are the original conspirator who was trying to go behind backs and eliminate the best shooters there. Plus!!!!! You lied about it when you said it was "one of 8" and "one of 10" different plans that they discussed.
  10. Haha! Yeah something like that.
  11. Nah. It wouldn't help. She is just ugly. There are some things that you just can't fix. Her face is one of them.
  12. This made me think of something. Maybe only tax payers should be allowed to vote. That would take care of a few problems.
  13. Do it woman!
  14. Sorry Mate. I do not know the year range but I know that it includes at least 06-08.
  15. That was awesome. Also, Graham Norton is a much better host than Letterman or Leno!
  16. I worked for FedEx in the hub for a while and saw a lot of stuff. I never once saw intentional damage caused to any item. However, time constraints mean that safe handling is often overlooked and things that say fragile are not treated as such and things fall. In this case, it is very easy to believe that the case was loaded carelessly onto the cart and fell off. That is a very common happening.
  17. You can get to most of it without having to take the whole thing apart. But I don't know if you can get to it enough to get it driving. I honestly just didnt try it. However, you can try removing the rubber insert to the right of the shifter and sticking your hand through the hole there. There is a little tab that you can push in. That is supposed to disengage the lock and let you shift. I was unsuccessful when I tried this but I was planning to take everything apart anyways so I may not have pushed hard enough.

The Service Grades are far and away the best deal going in firearms right now. I got mine a couple of months ago and it was beautiful. Great shape and right at a month wait time. Unfortunately, they haven't had much in the stores lately worth looking at. I highly recommend mail ordering a Service grade. However, if you are set on driving down and back, then you have no legal problems.
  19. Yep. The lever that you push is on the side of the top of the shifter assembly. You can see it in pictures 1 & 3 above. The problem is, that button won't always work when it gets to this point. I tried that first and it didn't work.
  20. I didn't take any last night when I was doing this so I have to refer to the pics that I used. Taking the shifter out of the car is pretty straight-forward. You will need a knife or flat head screwdriver, 10mm socket with at least a 6 inch extension and an 8mm socket. Once out, you can see in this picture the little pink arm and you can see where the hook broke off. Here is a picture of the hook and the spring. This picture is of the shifter assembly taken apart. You can see a hole in the front of the box where a tab goes through. There is the one on the front and one on each side. These pictures highlight the problem part. I fixed the one I looked at in a manner similar to this as a temporary solution. And here is a picture of the plastic thingy back in place.
  21. If you ever have this problem, hit me up. I can save you a lot of money.
  22. If so, you might one day find that you are unable to shift out of park. If this happens to you, it is because the mechanism to keep the shifter from moving when the key is out of the ignition is broken. The mechanism is a little pink plastic arm with a hook on it. A spring connects to the shifter housing a the hook. The spring is stronger than the plastic and will eventually break it off. There are a couple of ways to deal with it. The first is to modify the broken arm by drilling a hole in it and putting a cotter pin through or some sort of wire. Bailing wire, floral wire, aircraft wire are just a few options. The second way is to buy a new shifter assembly from Chrysler. They do not sell the plastic piece by itself. This is not a recommended fix simply because the new shifter will still have the plastic arm and it will eventually break again. The third and best way is to find an aftermarket manufacturer that makes replacements from billet aluminum. They are much cheaper than a new shifter assembly and will outlast the plastics. "How do I know all of this?" you might ask. Well, yesterday, a coworker's friend called her explaining that she was stuck at home and she asked if I could help. I said sure and did a little research. After work, I went over and took a look. Sure enough, it was the broken plastic hook thingy (technical term). I rigged hers up using floral wire and it will keep her on the road until the replacement aluminum piece arrives in a few days. If anyone does have one of these cars and needs more details, feel free to ask. I am only posting this because I know that they are extremely popular cars and from my research, this is an extremely common problem. Happy motoring!
  23. empty.
  24. When I was young, I could say the same thing. After tens of thousands of rounds however, an 11 dollar part is hardly what I could call fancy. I could have probably stuck a stocker back in it and ran it for another 20,000 rounds.
  25. <--- sad because he will never be able to fly.
