  1. I enjoy the autodraft. I play a yahoo league every year and we have autodraft. I never make trades and always win so autodraft works for me. haha
  2. Good deal bubba. I'm pretty jealous!
  3. Incredibly cool. If it was cheapish, I'd buy it just cause!
  4. Looks like I'm definitely going to win my division! haha
  5. West! But go ahead and put me in the AFC South. haha
  6. The guys on arfcom aren't extremely fond of SOG but I can't really complain about them. And their customer service seems to be pretty good if you do get a piece of junk.
  7. On that note, I loaned mine to a woman in my HCP class that had never held a gun before. She was in her 60's. She jumped with every shot that was fired and couldn't shoot at the same time as the rest of us because it scared her too badly but she scored a perfect 100.
  8. IN! Capbyrd is the team name!
  9. Let me know how it goes bubba. This is something that I have been thinking about for a long time and about two years ago, my doc said it was starting to look like an option for me. I'll have to wait a while and save up but it is something that is probably in my future.
  10. I was thinking more of the old trenchcoat so I could be like Captain Jack!
  11. Ive always heard when polishing that you should never use power tools. Always by hand.
  12. Lets try it ourselves. At absolute worst, we mess up a 170 dollar gun.
  13. yeah but they aren't those weird calibers either. 38s&w is much more common than those
  14. There you go. Its not really hard as long as you remember to make sure that everything falls into the right place.
  15. I'm not entirely sure then. It could still be that the hammer strut wasn't lined up. Wish you were closer. I could help you out.
  16. Will the bolt cycle fully or only about halfway? If it only moves about halfway, its because the hammer strut is caught on the sear spring stop pin. You have to be very careful to get the hammer strut in the right position. Get a pair of pliers or vice grips and give the mainspring housing a bit of a tug and it will come apart. I can almost guarantee that you just need to line up the hammer strut.
  17. Some of us like to tinker!
  18. I don't know why but I absolutely love the way these guys look. SOG has some Mk IV's right now chambered in .38 S&W that would be great for shooters and I might get one but I was hoping that some of you might have some and be kind enough to share pictures and your thoughts on the Webleys.
  19. Ruger has a 10 dollar minimum order but I was going to be combining this into a larger order from Midway.
  20. One of the biggest hurdles for me is that my sear spring stop pin is bent and the hammer strut gets caught on it constantly. I don't know if anyone else has a problem with this but I just thought i would say something. The new pin is only 2 bucks but I am waiting until I have enough stuff to order to make the order worthwhile.
  21. Come on out man. I know its a major first expense but its worth it for the long haul. And as for the scope, join me and Shorty out there sometime and check out his scope.

  23. He passed you a while back. He is in Maine right now and started in GA.
  24. Shorty, a member here, picked up a 700 SPS Tactical earlier this year and put a Viper Vortex 6-20x44 mil dot on it and I have to say, its a very sweet setup. I didn't really have a want or need for a .308 before shooting his and now I want to mimic his setup.
