  1. Yep. Clerk is hilarious. But we are getting there! They are back in session and WORKING!
  2. If the House is indeed meeting tomorrow, then I see no problem waiting until then for the vote. As much as I would like to see it over and done with, I'm not going to be upset if it doesn't make it through the house today. However, if it doesn't make it through the Senate today, I will be rather ticked off.
  3. I'm not entirely sure about that. My assumption would be that the 1000 dollars is for their entire term. A legislative office would need to be around so that the constituency would always have a place to meet, see, speak to or call their representative or senator.
  4. Well it technically is more. in 2007, a Memphis Senator collected over 32,000 dollars in Salary and per diem. Then add in the 1000 per month and she is looking at 44,000 dollars for those 90 days.
  5. Base salary is $18,123. However they can collect alot more money. They are given up to 141 dollars per day per diem and another 1000 per month to maintain a "legislative office."
  6. Jim Kyle from Memphis. F you Kyle!!!
  7. Indeed! They are now officially in session!
  8. I only speak gibberish. My apologies sir!

    XD40 or XD9?

In Memphis, 40 is scarce and 9mm is abundant. It varies depending on where you live.

    XD40 or XD9?

Tink, My sister bought her XD9sc for less than 500 otd. It's totally worth saving up that extra 80 bucks!

    XD40 or XD9?

I've had both and both will outshoot me any day of the week. Generally, I hate the .40s&w round. But the XD made it enjoyable to shoot. However, price and availability of ammo play a large part in what I buy and keep and 9mm is cheaper is and more plentiful. 9mm will get my vote any day of the week. Plus, you are already setup for it having a couple of other 9mm's and won't have to worry about hoarding yet another caliber of ammo.
  15. Amanda Righetti gets that one from me.
  16. For a plinker revolver, I think the Ruger Single Six or bearcat is far and away the best choice.
  17. Thanks. I just might have to get into BP now.
  18. Haha. Nope. Just my inner geek peeking through.

    S&W M&P15-22P

Anyone seen one or have one? I'm incredibly interested in this pistol and really want to get one. I was wanting to build this exact thing with real AR hardware but there is no point now.
  20. Sweet! I'm going to be a Jedi. To hell with weapons. All I need is my mind and a hand gesture! These are not the droids you're looking for!
  21. So I was talking to someone earlier and he was telling that I should xxxx because it is a "fraction of the price" of xxxxx. And I got to thinking about it and started an argument with him. This phrase is stupid. 1/1 is still a fraction but would imply that they are the same cost. 2/1 means that it is twice the price but its still represented in a fraction. I have no idea where I am going with this but it's just one of those things that kinda gets to me sometimes. Like saying "I could care less" when you really mean "I couldn't care less."
