  1. I have an iphone and the app i use most is called Balance. Its just a very basic app that is basically a check register. Works great for me. Other apps that I know i like are Bulletflight from Knights Armament, Flixter (for movie info including showtimes), directv, allrecipes, photobucket, wootwatch, espn scorecenter, Constitution, Dictionary, Google Earth, The Weather Channel, Shakespeare, Units, Speedtest, myWireless from AT&T, Shottimer, Fart for free (farting machine, i couldnt help it), Unblock, mancala, chess, checkers, and blackjack 21
  2. Thanks! Do you mind if I repost this in a few places? (facebook, other forums)
  3. This thread just confirms that 1911 nutswingers are elitists. "If it's not 45 its not worth owning." Whatever. Everyone likes something different and everyone will find a different use for it. I currently have (and carry) a 1911 in .45 and had an XD45 in the past. I love my 45s but I don't look down on 9mm. I am NOT a fan of .40 at all but i tried a few and just didnt like them. I will at somepoint own a 1911 in 9mm. I love 9mm and love the 1911 platform. If people want a 9mm 1911 or whatever, why is it such a big deal to you? You aren't spending the money on it? Or is this a case of you being the older sibling and you aren't going to get as much attention now that little brother/sister just came home from the hospital?
  4. Sounds about right. I had a friend put that note there so I would better fit in in memphis.
  5. The P6 is definitely on my list of things to own but I'm trying to build up my American Military collection first.
  6. I never see deals like that. I know that they are out there but I just never see them when I have the cash. I like Sig well enough but have never been a fan of the price tag. I'll take a ruger instead and have no problem saying so. Bersa, I have no experience with so I probably wouldn't.
  7. Make sure to take out a second mortgage first. You are going to need it to buy that sig.
  8. Ruger has never had a warranty and yet owners have never really had a problem. Search around and you will find plenty of good things being said about Ruger's customer service and "warranty."
  9. I dig it. I think you done great! However, I think the digi cam looks better in desert or arctic.

    AR-15???

Are you sure about this? I have never heard this before and I know that the Colt is made by Umarex/Walther. The S&W is ALL S&W.
  11. My old favorite. Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it) on Vimeo My new favorite!

    Not a sig fan

But I would really like to own this! Sig Sauer P226 “Gadsden” | The Firearm Blog
  13. I got the emails about the flood. I was wondering how bad it was. How bad is the cleanup going to be?
  14. Thats awesome. Post some pics. I really like the M&P's and the Magpul version is awesome.
  15. I even asked about it. Oh well. Doesn't matter at this point. I am not buying anything new for a while. I'm on a C&R kick and am trying to rebuild my AR into something different.
  16. Well I got screwed then. I paid cash for my M9 and they sure as hell charged me tax for it. oh well. like I said, I don't like the place or the guys there but they almost always have what Im looking for when noone else does.
  17. They have charged me tax on everything and have always been dicks to me. Unfortunately, they have the biggest selection in town though so I keep going back.
  18. Nice! I played a TDM last night using a silenced intervention and went 20 and 0. It's my favorite game ever now because I usually always suck with sniper rifles. I couldn't believe it when I saw it!
  19. Because some weapons will never be classified C&R. Most of those are evil and black.
  20. You realize that I am going to be bugging the piss out of you when I get my press right?
  21. For the folks that dont like it, 2 minutes with a flathead scredriver will have it back to stock! Love the 10/22.
  22. I have a CMMG rifle that I built. I built it using all CMMG parts. I had a problem with the first upper that they sent me not fitting the lower very well and they replaced it no questions asked and very quickly. Great products and great guys to deal with.
  23. I asked this on the CMP forums and the response was basically that the difference is purely cosmetic. Apparently, early garands had the 2 port plug and late garands had the 4 port. The two on midway are just to keep that look. Ill be ordering the 4 port for mine.
  24. I spoke to Mason today for a bit. I think he is going to be doing some work on my AR for me.
