1. CLEO gets courtesy copy.  Turn around time, for my C&R, was about two months.
2. American Security - look at their BF series safes (burgary/fire rated).  amsecusa.com

5.
.......................it wont stop the post guestions "What caliber is better?"LOL
Bingo!
6. Worth the wait. Inbound transfers (purchases) save you whatever your FFL was charging plus the NIC. Outbound (sales), no real savings. Mine took under four weeks.
7. If it's a set to go to the ATF regarding an NFA purchase, the Class 3 transfer dealer will often do it.
8. The mailing came about four weeks after the license arrived.
9. The more I see photos of that Ruger...............
10. Sorry to hear about the run around - I agree w/Jason

Gen 4 Glocks

I had several FTF's out of the same box of grade B ammo and am hoping it was the ammo - will resolve next trip to the range
12. Paperwork in the FFL's mailbox today. Mailed in on May 18 - fairly quick. Will pick it up tomorrow.
13. They used to hang them everywhere on Navy ships circa WWII and try to keep those pesky enemy fighters away.
14. Form 3 complete and gun received at my FFL - now onto the form 4 - signature, $$, and the wait.
15. Thanks for the replies. According to the shipper, he has spoken to the ATF clerk handling this actual transfer. I guess the clerk will get a "round tuit."
16. I'm at 90+ days waiting for BATFE to approve a transfer of an SBS from the selling dealer to my local dealer. Then, of course the next wait after I get my form signed and fee paid.

Snubbies..

I've got an unfired 1966 Colt DS in the box with a JC Penney hang tag - yes, they sold guns back in the time (blue, un-shrouded ejector rod). I'm hanging on to it in hopes of using it as a trade against a Colt DS that is marked from the NY State Police - it would have NYST on the back strap.
18. Check Bud's for trade ins - usually well priced.
19. Any ranges nearby where you could rent each gun (or similar) and shoot them the same day and make your decision from a personal side by side comparison?
20. When you're done soaking it, use Flitz (sparingly) to get some minor rubs and scratches out.
