I got one of those( actually that's a Tippmann A-5). Get a flatline barrel and you can hit targets around 50+ yards straight on. There is also stink paintballs out there( smells like rotten eggs) And Yes I carry my permit in my wallet as well.

Instead of those bulky fuel cans look into these. ATV Fuel Pack | Fuel Packs | ATV Fuel | Gas Container | Gas Can | Fuel Storage | Kolpin | Gas Cans | Jerry Cans Sure they are a bit costly, but you can stack them together and they support (supposedly) 500 or more lbs.

Question concerning the permit carry into restaurants that serve alcohol. I know the passed it, then a court ruled against it, then they were supposed to allow sometime in January. Anyone know the real deal? My boss asked me this morning if they had passed it. I'd just like to be able to tell him Yes. Thanks

Luckily i haven't had to pull my weapon. ( I hope I never have to.) But there are a lot more places i feel safe now that i can carry.

A whole lot of famous people lost this year. I lost the woman who brought me into this world earlier this year so that is most important to me. True 2009 has been a sucky year so far.

Range report needed: guns and gear expo,
Wyldk2 replied to HillbillyMafia's topic in Events and Gatherings
For those who complain, the big shows have to start somewhere. And since the town the Inaugural Middle Tennessee Guns and gear Expo was held is no where near as big as Nashville, You have to expect the crowds wouldn't be so big especially the first time out. It can only grow for the next time. I brought my friend( who happens to be the president of Opti-logic) to the show, he wasn't expecting the show to be like the shot show, or He would have set up a booth showing his Range-finders/binocs/etc... He'll be at the next one for sure. I have been to the Friedmans gun show before in Nashville, and I'm more impressed with the Expo than the bigger shows. Looking forward to seeing future shows get bigger and better everytime. -
That is the same weekend of the TGO show in Winchester. I'm sure there will be plenty of people at both places.

My brother is the same way, absolutely refuses to be around me when i'm carrying. And no he's not married, but liberal as heck and he's a Lawyer from Atlanta. Asks me not to carry when i'm around him. For some reason he seems to think us with guns are scared. Sure i'm not scared of life in general, but i am scared of losing my brother and or my dad as i Lost my mother earlier this year to an accident( not involving guns). Thing is rifles don't scare him, just handguns. so when i'm around him i leave mine locked in a lockbox in my car or in my luggage when i visit him in ATL. I don't want to cause a rift between my brother and myself. But i wonder what he'll say when, if something happens and i could have done something about it. When i'm away from family I carry all the time, Concealed of course. in my home since i have no kids or anyone to tell me what to do i keep mine loaded and at the ready cause anything can happen, we just don't know when or where.

Done that, and the day after Thanksgiving for retail people is a mandatory. I don't hate the holidays, even though it has gone off the deep end on commercialism. People are forgetting the true reason behind Christmas. it's not the gift giving or receiving, it's the time spent with your family and loved ones remembering the greatest gift of all in the Christian faith. The gift from god of his son Jesus, in order to save us all who believe in him as the savior. Now wheter or not anyone believes in the true meaning, it is no problem, believe what you want or don't believe, after all is still is a free country. Now i would trade everything i own if i could have my mom back for the holidays as this year's holidays don't feel the same to me.

December 2009 Guns & Gear Expo Radio Commercials
Wyldk2 replied to TGO David's topic in Events and Gatherings
And if you do want something else to do after the event( there are a few other attractions in the area). Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, George Dickel distillery in Normandy( just outside of Tullahoma). Plenty of local shopping if you bring the wives or want to get caught up on your christmas shopping. There are plenty of nice restaurants within 20-30 miles of Winchester. Fast-food, sit down restaurants and some nice locally owned establishments. -
I work with some people that swear by Alex jones( he does make a good show) and only that. I still have not bought into the, "The world is out to get me" mentality it seems he and his show portrays. I don't trust Obama and Pelosi, Or any other democrat out there. But it seems most all politicians are the same these days. 2 sides of one "coin". Just wish the politicians would follow the Constitution and try to get things back to where they were before the overgrowth and intruding ways of the U.S. government began.

They ( sheriff office) sprayed water on my hands. First told me it was battery acid( but i knew better). Didin't cost me any extra money or time when i had mine done at the sheriff's office. And they have the scanner/modern fingerprint machine.

New Hampshire allows open carry. No permit needed, but to conceal you have to apply for a permit. Vermont allows conceal/open carry without permit. As far as i know.

Another good place( i don't know about ope carry) but it's "Ye Olde Steakhouse". My mom and dad used to eat there when they were living in Knoxville. I have been a few times and they have some of the best steaks around. I think it was voted one of the top ten restaurants in TN( maybe even the nation) at some time.

Nice... Talk about a bug-out vehicle nobody will mess with you.

I just changed my tag to Krazor1375 on Xbox live. Playing Halo 3 and maybe a little COD4, until nov 10th, then iprobably COD4 MW2 for PS3. Compared to xbox, PS3 seems to have much better graphics to me. and i've had all the systems over the years.

Well, decided to try a Fobus Paddle holster. Just to see how well it does. Figuring since i don't ride like i used to, I'm more into the paced trail riding. But still looking into the leather version of this holster for suit and tie use. Convinced that leather looks the best though. Maybe i'll ask for one for christmas.

I may be wrong on this but on the safe side. I would keep it locked in the car unloaded of course( with ammo in separate location in the car, not easy to get to). Might be good to get yourself a cabled lock box for securing it to the underseat of your vehicle. Especially on AEDC property. If you go thru the gate since it is a Federal installation( air force base) i do not think weapons of any kind are allowed except by authorized military or security personnel. As for me carrying my weapon to work. That is one of the few places i do not carry into. I leave mine locked in my car. My boss has a HCP and he knows i have one as well, But i abide by the rules set forth by the company policy even though i disagree with it i'm not risking my job over me carrying a gun to work.

I have played a few times at bearclaw, We used to play just in the woods close to home when i lived in Tullahoma. As for the chicken farm situation? I haven't heard or smelled a thing. And I was there just last sunday. I didn't spend that much on PB, as i mainly got into it for the fun of it, we didn't have to have the top of the line gear to play. I have 2 spyders, but needing the lower trigger&frame for one to work. Seems a new trig/frame assembly costs about as much as just replacing the gun. I just decided to upgrade though, as there is supposed to be a big event this coming february at Bearclaw. Thinking about getting back into it on a regular basis, But i know i need to get back into shape well before i start competing( if it ever gets that good). Mostly like woodsball and some scenarios as i'm not really into that speedball thing. You seem to run out of paint real easy in that one.

I have a Winchester .22 tube fed rifle. Model # 290 This one is fun to shoot, I have found out i can run out of ammo as fast as i can pull the trigger. I almost want a magazine fed .22 for more fun without reloading all the time.

I just got back into the sport...er addiction.

I've got both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Haven't played Xbox online in over a year though( been too much going on) But might get back into it. Just waiting on Cod4(MW2) when it comes out for Ps3, might be getting it also for Xbox. Callsign on xbox is going to change( i hated my old one) PS3 gamertag is Krazor13 right now playing NFS shift and Cod (world at war).

Thanks kwe54919 That is probably close to what i'm going to get. Where did you get one of those and how much? I don't mind spending a little more for a better quality product. I checked a Fobus at gander mountian in Huntsville, was almost tempted to get one, but figured i'd wait till i got some advice.

Ok, for the record my parent's house had smoke detectors in working order. The fire originated in the Garage( the near mint condition 1985 olds cutlass was the cause of the fire). From where dad found mom( the fire hadn't started by then) it looked like she was out in the garage investigating the smoke/ or sound like the engine running. It turned out upon later investigation that the starter somehow got real hot and melted the brake fluid reservior, thus then Ignited when it fell on the starter. This car was not driven in bad weather and since it was the day we had all that snow first of march, I doubt mom would have taken it out. Reason why the fire was allowed to burn i don't now as i was 30 miles away in fayetteville. But dad was busy trying to get mom to safety and cpr and call the EMS and fire crews. I'm just mad the Fire dept did a sucky job that day. Parents house is, and I clocked it 1.5 miles from the fire hall #2 in Tullahoma. To everyone on this forum: If you don't have at least a couple smoke alarms in your home, please go out today and get some. I would not be here typing this if it were not for a smoke alarm. And do not investigate a fire( do the safe thing, call the fire department). You doing their job is not worth your loved ones losing you to smoke inhalation or worse. Guns were not in the safe, We found them in the rubble. Everything is covered by insurance, only i wish i could get my mother back. I'd trade everything i own and then some just to have her back with us.

i don't know where dad had them. i thought he had them in the safe but the fire got to the safe as well( was smoking inside a fire safe) then again the avg temp of the fire was around 1500 degrees F. At least that is what the fire-marshall/inspector told us. But we found the guns, dad has them soaking in oil right now hoping for either replacement or repair/restoration.
