  1. I have access to some of these targets. Ranges listed are pretty accurate, i have shot .223 frange @ 100 yrds without any dimpling. You have to carry extra bolts with you...occationally you shoot one though. I also have some 3/8 thick AR500 hanging from chains I shoot @ 100 yrds with no problem 193. If you dimple your steel you can get some bad splatter when shooting close with pistol.
  2. Black hills 5.56 brass with crimped primer. Head stamp BLH 5.56 and year 11 Came accross some of this brass about 6 months ago, just now getting around to processing and loading. Did some searches and found that it is used in 77gr OTM and some of their barnes frang ammo. Any one have experience with it? I normally use lake city for precision and practice loads. Don't really have time to work up new loads for everything...is it worth time to work up new precision loads? Iam already getting sub moa with Lake City brass. Thanks
  3. David...DLM37015. Best prices I have found within 100 miles of Knox. I think he is Dillon dealer also? I bought one of my Dillons from him a coulple shows ago. I should have got the 90 lbs keg at the last show.
  4. I have to back out, could possibly make make it to another time and date?
  5. If you can shoot your 50bmg out there, I have some ammo I can bring. I was planning on getting a 50 when I was living back home in Wyoming. I ended up moving here before I got one. I have some APIT and Blue tip Spotter/tracer...but you are going to need a hard target like a steel rim or something at a 150 yards to get the best show.
  6. Looks like I will be able to make it. I'm hoping to have a couple of form 1 cans done by then. (308 and 9mm pistol) I have some AR500 half size ipsc plates with chain links welded to back....but I don't have stands made for them yet. I also have a case or two of tannerite if you want me to bring some.
  7. If it starts fairly early morning and on a Sat, Sun or Tues. I could make it.
  8. I agree with Res Dog that you will more than likely be ok. 6 or 7 yrs ago when built my first sbr, they wouldn't let me list multiple calibers. I had a 11 inch 5.56 and a 10 inch tros 9mm upper. Was told to register one and write a letter stating that I would occationally use the 10 inch 9mm barrel on registered sbr lower. I carry a copy with form 1 copy. Since I had multiple AR's laying around and stripped lowers, I was advised to have lowers on hand registered as pistols to maintain legality for other short uppesr on site. This is probably overkill, but I got a couple cheap blemed lowers logged out as handguns and stamped them pistol only. So basicly they are stripped lowers with take down pins. Only cost me $45 each. You could also get ya a couple 10 dollar forgings and drill the take down pins as close as you can and stamp pistol only with some serial number. They don't have to be functional.
