1. But how would they know? You can't hear them, aren't they supposed to make a 50bmg quiter than a squirt gun.
2. Beat me to it, I was going to post the link in the competition forum but saw it hear.
3. New Bern Arms (sp) in Maryville / Alcoa behind west chevrolet is now doing camo dips.  They had about 15 swatches and can get more.  Nice guys,
4. They came in 6 flat rate boxes, he made a couple trips
5. Bummer, just got my order in from other company yesterday.  $80 shipping, but that was for 21,000 9mm projos. They were left by the garage, mailman was probably so pissed off he didn't want to ring the doorbell
6. My work week is around 60-70 hrs. Looks like I be putting in a few more.  I just got notice today that our group premiums are going up 33% or you can choose that BS that I am paying for with my extra 33%
7. All three of the ones stated above have been on my android based phone for sometime now.  Shooter is great app, even bought it again for my ipad.   Re-read thread...didn't see Nikon app.  Haven't looked at it yet
8. i AGREE, but twinke / ding dong eating stoners don't seem nearly as scary as twinke / ding dong eating machine gun toters.      (not refering to me as being fearful, talking about certain other groups)
9. Hard to break old habits, traditional was purchased in 88 at px. It's not as flashy as when I got it, but just as purty. The Ka-Bar boot was purchased in 85, it used to be all black.
10. I run suppressed sbr with frange, I know my AO ie. fields of fire and backstops / hardpoints regardless of where I am indoors. Hunker down wait for the law. If bad guy is feeling frisky, he's going to get some.
11. Check breast feeding section of most pharmacies, or order online
12. I thought David lived in middle Tn :)
13. Jackson and Pinedale Wyoming late 80's to early 90s you could still see ranchers and trappers walking down the street with side arms and carbines. Freaked out the tourist back then even.  Gun check at most bars was common.  I remember checking guns when I tended bar at the VFW in Rock Springs 92-95.
14. I have ran a couple thousand rnd s of it.  Shoots good though the FALs, thats why i built my first FAL.  We could get battle packs of the stuff for $19 each back in 02.  We couldn't get 5.56 that cheap.
15. What?? Doesn't everyone hunt dogs in a bunny suit? Tell me of a better disguise :)
16. If you ever get tagged, just tag everyone around you for a couple blocks?
17. Did one about 7 years ago for hunting yotes when I lived in Wyoming. Still have it, not enough snow in E. Tn though.
18. I crimp everything except match bolt gun loads. Lots of variables though from heavy crimp on tracers to very light taper crimp on frangible 9 mm loads
19. Look at Elite Iron bravo suppressors, built super strong great sound. Have shot on 30 06 and 308, when timed correctly very little to no poi change.
20. All are variances of other designs. Middle one is stainless and carbon steel, other 2 are aluminum. I bought my first commercial can about 8 yrs ago. I took it apart and measured the k baffles. I have been in the industry on and off for around 25 yrs doing work for different EBR manufacturers and dealers. I know enough to not break laws and not hurt myself :)
21. I shoot a lot of lead though.them, and waited to long to clean them. Normally I would just soak overnight and they come apart. My 22 can weighed 3 ounces more than when I built it. (About 3500 rnds). This is why I don't weld any of my cans, next couple form1s with be monolithic cores.
22. Soaked for 4 days in kroil, 22 and 9mm pistol cans came apart after about an hour of pounding with 1 inch delrin rod and 5 pound hammer. 9mm carbine can took 5 days soaking and 2 hours pounding. Took the pics of 9mm carbine can after I had already cleaned the baffles on the others. Carbine can had about 1000 rnds 9mm, 100 rnds 308 subs and about 500 5.56. Took me about 1 hour bead blasting to clean all baffles, endcaps and spacers for all 3 cans.
23. Have a friend that has been making bench rest bullets In 6mm and 22 for along time. His dies were close to 3k for the set. I have seen a few Corbin setups that use 22 rimfire jackets. I was going to get into it when I lived out in Wyoming ( long winters). It's not a high rate of production, but pretty slick idea. When I talked to Corbin, i was told rate was about 50 - 75 projos per hour.
