  1. I think their problem with me is I don’t have a Brick and Mortar store or You Tube million subscribers, and that I don’t have a large enough order demand like the large stores do at the end of the Day just more headache than it is worth, I do like their lights and I’m telling you the Odin is worth checking out, buy yourself a quality Scout adapter for it and under $200 you will have a great weapon light seriously it is better than my Dual Fuel Surefire Scout, and over $400 less with the Tape switch included as far as Streamlight goes I have owned 4 of them over the years and every single model I have owned has died, I bought them all from Streamlight So I know they were authentic I still have 15 Surefire lights, some very old only one of them gave me problems and it was my EDC L2T, the low 5 Lumen setting on the gas pedal type switch would only go to High Surefire sent me a new tail cap and thought it would be good, it was not at the end of the day I had to send it back to them, they repaired it and I still have it I honestly use these Chinese lights over them, they are so much brighter and I love the magnetic charging cable it is ingenious Surefire really needs to step up their game for what they charge they should be a brighter better beam than Olight offers but they are not it remains to be seen if the Odin will be as good as my Surefires have been in the long run but I am telling you that you need to check one out yourself to believe it
  2. I was not going to say anything yet but since you brought this up I must, Personally I don’t use flashlights attached to my pistols, so I have not seen what you are talking about But I TOTALLY agree with you, when I received my Odin which is mounted on my AK47 I did not like the mounting system one bit attached to picatany rail, the light moved very easily, side to side up and down play since I have an M Lock rail I bought a very expensive ($45) Scout Light adapter I removed the Olight attachment and screwed it directly to the light, and mine is secure and I trust it completely. I had a few email conversations with my Rep and some other people From Olight I let them know this was a problem that I saw first hand to make a very long story short I am no longer one of their favorite people. as a dealer I did not like the fact that they do Flash sales without telling me, I never want to charge you guys more money for something that you may get on sale while waiting for your order, I am a small one man outfit they do not care about my opinion which is something I am not use to, I now own 6 Olights and like them very much but I will no longer be a dealer for them, in my opinion they care more about people collecting their products then they do about people needing to trust their life’s with their products, some advice to you all that I have learned, do not buy these lights on Amazon they sell a ton of fake Olights, yes Chinese fakes of quality Chinese products they do not let dealers sell on Amazon at least in my dealer agreement it was forbidden I have been told this multiple times since affiliated with them, The Odin light uses the exact same pattern for the mounting holes in the light as the Surefire Scout, if you buy a good Scout Light adapter for whatever rail you need, you will have a solid light in my case for less than $200 I have a better system than my $850 Surefire system was, so far anyway it has been rock solid and I love it The Javelot Pro is my favorite light it has the best throw of any light I have ever used, I still love my M2R Warrior Pro I beat the #### out of it and it still works like a charm, I would trust my life with it as I use it constantly TO UPDATE there was a serious misunderstanding between myself and a Lady in China, all is well now and they truly do care what I think and bent over backwards today apologizing
  3. If any of you missed the sale and want a Patriot M2R Pro let me know I can still get a few, they will be the same price from me as the regular black ones are
  4. No sir long gone
  5. I carry one everyday for me the perfect size
  6. The Javelot Pro is now my favorite flashlight I swear this throw on this thing could reach the moon!
  7. Jump on it cheaper than I get them for they keep us dealers in the dark about these flash sales, to each their own but I’m not crazy about the Flag design on these but folks lose their minds for them, if you want to make some cash buy as many as you can hang onto them and sell them to a collector
  8. Both orders I will have today, all of you who have a light coming they will ship today
  9. Order in, I’ll do another if the need is there
  10. I will be sending in an order this evening so if any of you want in on it let me know
  11. If any of you want an Olight I’m about to do another order
  12. The M2R Pro Warrior is my EDC it is a great light as well as a defensive tool
  13. One of the best things about Carrying the M2R Pro is that it can also be used as a weapon when you don’t have access to any other, I have every version of the Surefire Defenders and I still like them, but the bezel on the M2R along with the heat and brightness it produces make it so much better than the Surefires
  14. I just placed another order, got myself an Odin for my AK47 and a Javelot Pro for our property man I love these flashlights check out the Odin this is why I bought mine
  15. Those are cool, a guy sent me a couple to sharpen I really like the auto version you will love it
  16. All depends on what your budget is and style of knife you like , I have pretty much carried everything but lately Protech TR3, TR4 and a Benchmade AFO2 I rotate those 3 out , a lot of folks still do not realize that switchblades became legal to carry here in Tennessee back in 2014 automatics are just more fun to EDC in my opinion
  17. That is my next purchase, I need an M Lock adapter just trying to figure out which one to get for my AK47 the new ones Odin have a twist to lock for the Magnetic Pressure switch so it cannot come off, that was the reason I never got one before
  18. https://www.olightstore.com/ I will give you as good of a price as I can, no list as it changes all the time for me
  19. My experience level with sharpening took several hundred knives to achieve, I absolutely destroyed multiple knives before getting comfortable enough to do my expensive ones, I have had to fix several knives that people tried to sharpen with their brand new systems, one of them being a $2500 custom that I was barely able to correct. I agree with what you are saying about the Sharp maker and strop I started with one of the very first editions of the sharp maker, once I mastered it I bought an Edge Pro, I then began to learn the true meaning of a sharp knife. The edge pro Apex amazed me until I started using Wicked Edge, I now own a commercial Wicked Edge system and damn near everything you can get with it, with my experience it is the best way on earth to get a knife as sharp as it possibly can get, now when I sharpen a knife to the level my equipment is capable of a leather strop is all that’s needed to maintain the edge, as far as angles, 40 inclusive 20 degrees per side does not work on all blades, sometimes the type of steel can drastically change what angle it should be sharpened at, Pro Tech knives with 154CM are sharpened at the factory at approximately 17 degrees per side, and that is what I keep them at, their TR4 Knives, most of them anyway are made with D2 steel those work best at 19 degrees per side, the only knife that I m aware of that absolutely needs 40 Inclusive, 20DPS is the Zero Tolerance 0350 I have probably sharpened at least 50 of them and that is the only angle I can get them laser sharp at that is S30V steel, but any other knife that uses it I can make sharp at nearly any angle so the profile of the blade can effect what angle it needs as well
  20. Guys if you want to just get a decent knife sharpener buy a Spyderco sharp maker, and learn to use it that will serve you well however if you want them as sharp as my experience and equipment will do that will take you years of experience and could cost a few grand I do have a friend that can get a knife as sharp as my systems do by hand but he is very expensive and rightly so Someone mentioned I charge only $10 a blade that is only on a very rare occasion or when i did a multi knife deal for someone I also can sharpen small blades depending on if I have the correct adapter on hand As someone else mentioned if I put my best edge on a knife it can be maintained with a leather strop
  21. I am now convinced this is the best flashlight company in the world
  22. Initial order done, all of you that paid your lights have been ordered I will start another if I have the interest
  23. Folks if any of you want one let me know i will be sending my initial order in in the next day or two I will give you the best price I can
  24. I just became a dealer for what I consider one of the best Flashlight companies in the world, Olight, PM me if you want a certain model, I will give you my best prices
