One more bump before the games. I will be at Neyland tomorrow cheering the Vols on. Hope we have a great weekend of football.
-
I saw this on another NFA forum about an month ago and while it is neat, it is not worth a $200 stamp IMO.
-
$175 is a cheap knife in willis68's knife collection. Price some Microtech knives and you will see what I mean.

WHAT?!
-
Guys the first game of this week is tomorrow (Thursday, 23 September) so get your picks in.
-
The .40 Kel-Tec that I shot ran fine. It was pie plate accurate at 100 yards. It makes a great truck gun if your carry a Glock.
-
There are guys who specialize in repairing machine guns and DIAS, I would send it to one of these guys for repairs. If you own a legal machine gun you can buy M16 fire control parts with no problem. But if the gun or sear is damaged beyond repair you are just SOL. No buying another receiver and converting it or making a new DIAS.
-
Everything that a civilian can own had to be made and registered before 19 May 1986. Therefore if a lower receiver was made and registered as a machine gun before that date with BATFE then you can buy it. If a drop in auto sear (DIAS) was made and registered before that date you can own it. The same thing goes for a lightning link. The only way you can "make" a machine gun is by buying one of these registered conversion parts and putting it into your rifle. You still have to have pay the $200 to transfer ownership to you and pass the background check with BATFE. There is no cheap way to own a legal machine gun (around $3,000 for the cheapest). That being said if you are caught with a illegal or illegally converted machine gun you will go to jail.

I havent changed any picks. I can (I think) but I have no reason to change them. I am not going to win anything no matter what and I dont care who wins so there would be no need for me to change your picks. I have clicked the "edit picks" control but that was just to see who had completed their picks for that week, but will not do that in the future to keep from any speculation of pick tampering.

Sorry guys I forgot to bump the thread this week. I will bump it on Thursday morning of everyweek to remind everyone. Also I am fresh out of 155 ammo, I shot it all up this weekend . But I will put together a nice prize pack for 1st and 2nd place.

No there has been three games in NFL history with 12 turnovers by a single team. Detroit had 12 in 1942 against the Bears. The Chicago Cardinals had 12 against Philly in 1950 and Pittsburg had 12 against Philly in 1965.
-
Offense played like total . They looked like a bad high school team out there. The only good thing about this game is how good the defense played. They will bend but didn't break today. Hope they can keep it up and if the offense can't get their crap together it is going to be a long season for the Titans.
-
Nope, they are exactly the same size per Glock's website.
-
The Glock .380 doesn't have enough import points to be imported into the country. Why carry a gun that is physically the same size as a 26 or 27 but in a smaller caliber? Even if they could get the .380's in the country I doubt they would be a big seller.

Tyler Bray is a true freshman out of Kingsburg California.
-
Worked from 9-4. Came home and watched football and just hung out at the house.
-
Simms did play awful. He holds the ball way too long and his throwing motion is horrible. But Bray is a 6'6 freshman that is under 200lbs. The roster says 210lbs but there is no way he weighs that much. If Dooley put him in he would get killed taking some of the shots that the big boys in the SEC lay on QB's. It seemed like we would take one step foward and two steps back all night long. At least they finished the game tonight. We will continue to improve and I still believe that we will win some big games this year. Congrats to the FL fans for a good win.

That's weird. All the ATF agents I know have had nothing but good things to say about their Sigs.

They gave Smith and Wesson a contract too. Wonder why they switched from the Sigs that they have been carrying? Tuesday, September 14, 2010 Smith & Wesson Awarded ATF Firearms Contract SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Smith & Wesson Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: SWHC), parent company of Smith & Wesson Corp., the legendary 158-year old company in the global business of safety, security, protection and sport, has announced that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) awarded the company an unrestricted open market competitive Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite -Quantity (ID/IQ) multiple-award contract for the Military & Police (M&P40) pistol. The award marks the completion of a full and open competition among several firearm manufacturers to provide a commercial off-the-shelf pistol that met or surpassed the ATF technical requirements. Under this contract, the M&P40 pistol is not only qualified for purchase by the ATF but has also been made available to multiple U.S. Federal Agencies who may now use this contract vehicle for their purchases. The potential value of the contract award is $40 million over 10 years. Michael F. Golden, President and CEO, said, "This award by the ATF marks a milestone for our company and for the Military & Police Pistol Series. Beyond the value of future orders we may receive under the contract, it is an important validation of our M&P products. During the ATF's stringent testing process, the M&P pistol performed exceptionally well, demonstrating excellence in the areas of reliability and performance, two key benefits that have made it a frequent choice by federal, state and local law enforcement professionals." The ATF awarded the contract to Smith & Wesson after a rigorous, multi-step evaluation was conducted on the M&P40 full-size and compact pistols. The evaluation consisted of a multiple- agent, live-fire assessment of 5,000 rounds. Additionally, the pistols were fired 15,000 rounds during the endurance phase of the test, for a total of 20,000 rounds each. The pistols were further subjected to an environmental exposure test and a post-endurance evaluation. Golden concluded, "The employees of Smith & Wesson are proud to support our nation's federal agents by supplying them with a top-grade, American made product that embodies our relentless focus on quality and performance, our innovative manufacturing techniques and the rich history of our company.":lol: Mine would a jam cake that my Grandmother (Dad's side) makes or the chocolate pie that my Nana made before she passed. We only get the jam cake once or twice a year and it makes it that much better.
-
If we are lucky. I don't have too much confidence in Simms. And UF's defense is brutal.
-
I don't think it has. It is a UT/UF thread. IMO this thread for UT/UF fans to make predictions about the game and talk smack about each others teams. Don't get all butt hurt about it. It is just a game and this is just the internet. If Florida wins then I will congratulate GGP and all the Gator fans here on TGO. That's how it works.
-
Here is a little somthing to lighten the mood around here. Nice jorts guys. Jorts are a staple of any Gator fan's wardrobe. I hate that Tebow left, he made this way to easy.
-
Man don't let it get to you. It's UT/UF week and everyone is trash talking and that's what it is all about. I don't take it too seriously and don't let it get too me. As always, GO VOLS!
