Making my lasagna tonight. Sauce from scratch And of course garlic bread with aged Parmesan I have to wait for the sauce to finish before I put it together and toss it in the oven. The house smells awesome right now!!

For those of you who prefer polarized lenses, be aware that they can have an adverse effect when using a holographic sight. At the last shooting school I attended the instructor recommended not getting them for that reason.

That's insane! If one of my jumpmasters did something like that I don't know what I would do.

The majority of the SF guys I have worked with are still very respectful and would never act like you you described. However, there are exceptions anywhere, some people do slip thru the cracks even in SF training. I can say for sure though, they are the exception and not the rule. Also, if they were playing with their patches like that they might have been posers. I know of people who have tried to wear things they haven't earned before. (ranger tabs, jump wings ect) When I came back into the Army there was a prior Marine that was trying to claim all sorts of awards and schools that he never earned. They don't look to favorably on that kind of thing as he found out.

I ended up having to take the chili to work for a luncheon that I didn't know about until this morning. It's all gone now I don't think anyone knew it was venison. I think it needs more heat next time though.

Just made a batch last night in the slow cooker. Venison stew meat, ground venison and pork sausage. And this for heat.

I know there have been times that I see something in the classifieds that I would love to have but it's just too far away. I'm sure that I'm not the only one to have had this happen. So here is the deal. I am in South Carolina for a wedding this weekend. I will be driving back home to Clarksville on Monday. My route will take me through Knoxville and Nashville before ending up in Clarksville. If anyone in mid-tn wants something transported from east-tn here is your chance! If anyone wants to take advantage of this pm me.

That's crazy, I saw almost the same thing just a few weeks ago. I was driving down I24 heading home after work. I was almost to my exit when I saw a fire on the side of the road and a military humvee on the shoulder with a pronounced lean to the passenger side. As I got closer I could see that the front tire was missing completely. I stopped since I carry a fire extinguisher in my truck and if that fire wasn't put out the smoke would obscure the road and would get dangerous fast. I got the fire out and made sure the soldiers were ok and had help on the way before I left. I guess the rotor dragging on the road sparked enough to start the grass fire. The loose tire crossed all four lanes of traffic and ended up in the ditch on the other side of the interstate. It was VERY lucky that it didn't hit anyone. A 37" tire on a beadlocked rim could have really done some damage. *On a good note I found a nice digital camera in the grass after I put out the fire. It didn't belong to anyone there so it came home with me. It still works well even though the screen is a little dirty from being outside for a few days.

The wife and I loved it. Can't wait for the next episode!

That pizza was awesome! Neither my wife or I could eat more then one piece though. That is most likely due to the large appetizer we had first.

Well it looks like I won't be able to make it after all. I just found out that my wife's grandparents are coming into town on Sunday. I hope you guys have fun and hopefully I can make the next one.

Sounds good brother, I will bring my M44 and at least one of my 91/30's. You are welcome to shoot either until your shoulder falls off. Also, I have a bunch of surplus green tip 5.56 that I will be bringing. Everyone is welcome to some of it as well. Edit: I picked up a box of 7.62x54r at Tennessee Gun Country tonight so I will have at least a little for sure.
