  1. I hear you. You don't fit in unless you are a Civil War nut or Neo Nazi. There aren't that many deals to be had on used guns, and no deals on ammo or new guns. If anything you pay more at the gun show because most people who go are under the impression that you get bargain prices, when in reality you do not. I think some of the dealers exploit this and raise their prices a bit compared to a store price.
  2. I like to fondle it when I'm not actually shooting it. It just feels so good in my hand
  3. It's better to have too much than not enough. I have lots of ammo for my AR, .45, 9mm, and shotgun. I have enough ammo for every gun I own to make me feel comfortable should there be some kind of chaotic event or anarchy, or who knows what. Those things are unlikely to happen in the civilized suburbs of Nashville, but as the saying goes, you never know. I keep several loaded magazines for each of my handguns, several loaded AR magazines, several speedloaders for my .357 686.. all in the safe. I keep a (needless to say) loaded handgun wherever I am. If I'm driving, it's wedged in between my seat and the console. If I'm in the shower or on the ****ter, it's on the toilet tank. If I'm in the garage, its with me on the workbench. If I'm in my recliner, it's on the floor next to me. It's the same one I carry every day: Glock 36. The ammo capacity isn't that high, but 7 rounds should be enough to allow me to get to my safe where the arsenal is, if I'm home that is. It never hurts to be prepared. It shouldn't sound paranoid. I mean, most people buy insurance don't they? Nobody says that's paranoid, and the consequences of not being prepared are far less grim than not being prepared to protect your life.
  4. Well you're talking about people ****ing animals. How can you seriously expect to avoid jokes Good one.
  5. Baaaa means no.
  6. I'm most accurate with my S&W 686 .357 also. It can do no wrong.
  7. Ah Len, I have enough to get me by for now!
  8. I got another Mustang in May. I still have my 93, which I will never sell. Black 04 GT, nothing but a shifter yet, but I bought some Y2K Cobra R wheels and good suspension parts, plus Brembo brakes. I'm just waiting to put it all on. www.lxcoupe.com/images/04gt
  9. Well I have to pick someone up at the airport at 7:30 on the 19th, so unfortunately I'm out.
  10. I wouldn't consider a Bersa .380 a pocket gun. They are quite big as far as small guns go. I think the j-frame S&W or Kel-Tec are the only properly sized guns of good caliber and round capacity for the average sized man to consider a "pocket gun."
  11. You can also carry in state parks in Florida as of last year. http://www.packing.org/news/articleview/153/ This means something to me beacuse the beach in PCB we like to go is in St. Andrews State Park.

    Music lovers!

It's nice to see a few fellow 311 fans around. I was beginning to feel alone int he world! It's too bad they are so liberal with songs such as "Guns are for *******" and Nick's website www.liberalhexum.org , but I'm willing to overlook that because I love 311's music. Now maybe I will have someone to go to a 311 show if they ever come to Nashville again.
  13. I'm very interested. I'm sure we have crossed paths before as I have been reading/posting on nashvillewx.com since day one as Chris H.
  14. Same here.. it'll probably be my next handgun.
  15. no no no.. it's an address from a prank call. The guy's name who made them was John Bean (a lot of people in East TN have heard of him). http://www.asswhupper.com/press/press_openletter.html
  16. Any word on who the speaker is yet? I'd speak, but I don't know what to say
  17. I always use the Sears entrance at Rivergate, and saw no proper signage. At Opry Mills, I go in by the theater and there is no sign.
  18. Bill Morgan Route 7 Thompson School Rd. Corryton, TN 37921
