I went to the DMV in Murfreesboro on Monday, 24 Sep. I got there about 1:15, filled out the permit application, paid my $115 and got my photo taken. I was in and out of there in less than 40-minutes.

Funny you should bring that up... I was just talking to someone here at work about the charge for parking. If they're going to charge $5 to park, I'm out. I'll just wait for the one in Murfreesboro next weekend. You park for free, but the admission is $10. At least that's what it was last year, or was it the year before... don't remember . I've taken a nap since then.

When I got my photo taken for my HCP, I had to remove my glasses. But the clerk didn't give me any flack about it... just politely asked me to take them off. I think it's to avoid glare from the flash??

Last weekend I bought a Blackhawk Serpa holster for my Sigma 9mm. YMMV, but for me it printed pretty badly. I guess that's to be expected for OWB holster. Using the paddle attachment, I found it uncomfortable and pinched. Determined that I was going to return it and get something else, I did some research on the Galco Triton kydex IWB holster. I picked one up today and am wearing it around the house, getting used to it and looking for the "sweet spot". I think I'm going to like this one, time will tell.

You'll get no arguments from me. He has the demeanor, not in a bad way mind you, of a former LEO. One of points he really drove home was the awesome responsibility we were undertaking. I've been recommending him to those who I work with, at NES. Thanks! A Sigma 9mm, with the trigger mod. The mod made a world of difference, dropping the trigger pull by about 1/2 what it was.

We recently did away with our landline, not needed if each of us has a cell phone. But the wirelss phone we were using had a button on the charger that would ring the handset when pushed.
