  1. Enhanced middle finger visibility for more effective nonverbal gestures.
  2. I've got the small CS Kukri machete, and I like mine a lot. It's a good, versatile blade. I had gotten mine as a "one blade" solution, and it works well in that role. However, I currently like the small knife/hatchet combo. It's still a machete though, so the blade is thin. The factory edge will also suck. It will have a hollow grind bevel with heavy machining marks. I filed mine to a flat grind, which has worked well. I've heard that a convex edge works well, but I don't care enough to try it. The checkering on the hard plastic grip may be a bit aggressive at first. It would try to dig into my hand while chopping, so a bit of sandpaper and some smoothing may be in order there. I had originally wrapped the grip of mine with tennis racket grip tape, which worked well. I've since taken it off and have been trying it without.
  3. I'm not sure what features are/ are not in Elements, but here are a few topics that would be useful to research. -Layers -Transparency and the alpha channel -brushes -The basic functions of the tools -filters and layer styles However, I've found that the best way to learn is to do. Work with a picture and try to create a specific effect. Even if you can't get it to work, chances are you'll learn something useful. As usual, Google is your friend. Also, OhShoot's advice is good stuff.
  4. A "trick" you might want to use on a gun with a heavy trigger pull is placing your finger further down on the trigger. The Sigma's trigger, like many triggers, is a lever. Placing your finger further away from the fulcrum of the lever will reduce the force needed to move it, but you will need to move it further. Basically, if you place your finger further down the trigger, you'll get a slightly lighter but longer pull.
  5. You can still get the 110 and 119 with leather sheaths. I believe it's just the ones at Walmart that have the nylon sheaths.
  6. He's talking about the indentations on both sides of the magazine well. Those are referred to as "dimples," and not all Saigas have them.
  7. Hey everyone. I'm Joe from Columbia. I couldn't keep lurking without signing up, so here I am. The forum looks great, and I'm looking forward to spending some time here.
