  1. Has anybody seen any antlered bucks? I've seen a few but no good'uns yet. Looks like the young boys so far. I passed on a decent 8 point last season. Looked to be a 3 yr old. Maybe he'll look good this season. Since the limit was cut back I'm starting to see a few good bucks. The 9 point I killed last year netted 129 4/8. Good deer for the area I hunt.
  2. It figures. Most of the times that I go just for a walk back through the pastures, I won't see anything when I'm packing.
  3. Must not have much of a crimp on it. Most factory ammo has a good crimp.
  4. It seems like everytime I see a coyote, I don't have a gun.
  5. I'm gonna agree with GreginTenn and Ukerduker. I think you need to adjust your sizer to size a little more. I've ran into the same problem before.
  6. How much does a Mojo sight usually cost?
  7. Bare hands would be pretty wild. I knew a kid in high school that killed one with a rock. It was a big caliber. About 5" diameter.
  8. .357 magnum in Ruger Security Six .223 .30-30 .308 .30-06 8mm Mauser .50 ML
  9. He's gonna be a good'un. Hope you see him this Fall.
  10. Finding a stock for a Model 60 shouldn't be hard to find. If it was me I'd look on Ebay and try to get one or somewhere else and put it on later. They made like 2 million plus.
  11. My Rruger Security Six that was the first handgun I ever bought and my Ruger MkII that belonged to my mother.
  12. Dang right Glenn. I guess I've got way to much redneck in me because I would tear gas the whole dang bunch. Then round'em up and send'em home. They're original home!
  13. Man, she beat the crap outta that dog. I saw that the cat didn't want some too.
  14. A little steep ain't it. I saw one at a gunshow a while back and now I guess the price was normal. I thought it was way high.
  15. Yeah I guess 91-30 rifles at $109 is about right. A C&R holder might beat that some. But with shipping it would be about that. I ordered some back in Dec. from S.O.G. and with shipping as best as I remember they was about $102 or something like that. But yeah the M44 and Type 53 carbines are about dried up. You don't see anybody anymore that has'em.
  16. I saw one at Livingston a few months ago and about a month ago saw one in Cave City, Ky.
  17. I see Type 53's at gunshows sometimes but they are high. Nothing from China should be that expensive. I'm talking about $250 or more.
  18. Good question on the FFFg and Pyrodex P. I don't know about that. Have you ever checked with Midsouth Shooters Supply? May be high on shipping and Hazmat. Its worth a try if you haven't done it yet. Gamaliel Shooters Supply might have some. www.gamaliel.com
  19. Thats great it fired good. The odds was against it firing good. I don't own a BP revolver but have left BP rifles loaded for months and they fired just fine. How accurate is yours? Have you ever tried to hunt anything with it?
  20. Yeah clutepc them are some mean hooks. That bird is probably 5 years old. The best one I got this season had 1 1/8" spurs. They say 1" is probably a 3 year old.
  21. You gotta love the 91-30's. They was made to shoot way out yonder.
  22. I'm gettin' in this a little late but I got a Mossberg 500 camo 12 ga. 3" chamber. I got a Hastings .640 choke.
  23. The racks that hold the gun crossways are a real pain. My brother had a set like that and he loaned his shotgun and 4 wheeler to his stepson and he banged it on a tree and broke the stock. Ouch!
  24. That looks like a good design. I've never seen any like that. I've seen silhouette crow decoys made out of 1/4" plywood and painted black though. I like yours better. I've got a neighbor that loves to hunt crows. He makes it pretty hard on'em too. I still see a lot of'em though.
  25. I'm right handed and I've got mine on the right. Tell you what, clamp the press down with a c clamp in different spots and try it to see where you want it. You'll find a sweet spot.
