  1. In my particular situation, my wife and I had far bigger issues we were concerned with. It really took 6 weeks before we could wrap our heads around cancer. I agree it was probably just the local manager; however, it still ticks me off. I have Publix, Wal Mart, and Aldi's closer. I buy more food from Sam's than any other place.
  2. Hermitage had 30-40 boxes of 9mm and probably 10-12 of .308 (didn't look that close though).  I shot 100 rounds of Perfecta 9mm today without any issues at all.  I was tempted to buy more, but thought I'd pass this along to let another TGOer get more.

  3. They had 6 50 rd boxes at noon. I passed was looking for .45

They had 10, which I purchased.  Some were hiding behind the .308.  They had at least 8 cases under glass by the register.  I've been looking all over for the .45, but I haven't seen a box.  I've been buying the Federal 100 round boxes for $28.97.  If I see .45, I will post it here, after I get mine of course!!!  :pleased:

  4. I just did this with my son, and the tag remains with the owner of the vehicle.  You can do the retitling and registration at a satellite office.  You do not have to go to the Howard office building.  It sounds like I will be doing the same exact thing you did in a few years when he is ready to upgrade.

  5. Just a heads up if anyone needs some but Walmart in Berry Hill has .223, 9mm, .40 and .308 all in stock as of 10 minutes ago. I just picked up  5 boxes of .223 but it was painful not to buy it all haha. It would have been more painful to explain that to my wife.

I was THAT guy yesterday.  I bought all 19 boxes of 9mm at Harding Place yesterday.  It was a moment of weakness, and my stash was getting low.  I'm resisting going to this store today.  :surrender:

  6. Usually starter capacitors are round or oval cylinders.  The the top is bulging, put a new one on it.  It's usually just two wires.  Mark the wires before removing them and take the capacitor with you.  Good luck.

  7. Charcoal is king however, gas is handy. You can make fantastic tasting food on gas the key is don't clean it! Just the grate. Regulating temps on gas is so much easier. I use both. Frequently.

Once they regulate the gas grills to the point of non existence, they'll make charcoal prohibitively expensive. It'll be like Europe here before you know it, and we won't be smiling either

Regulating temps on a charcoal grill is easy just by opening and closing your vents.   For those of you that can't learn how to do it, gas is your friend.

  8. I feel the same way.  I looked at a lot of different manufacturers when shopping for a 1911.  There were a lot of different features I was looking for.  Every model seemed to keep raising the price point.  Dan Wesson makes really nice 1911s, but I don't like stainless steel guns.  I ended up purchasing a Colt and I'm trying NOT to buy another.

  9. Mt. Juliet had a good amount of 9mm and loads of .308 earlier this evening.  The guy 2 ahead of me got the last of the .223.  I'd appreciate a heads-up if anybody spots .45

Hermitage Wal-Mart has 20 boxes or more of Federal 45 ACP for $28.97 for 100.  I picked up 3 more boxes today.  No limit.

  10. The reason the Japanese opened manufacturing plants in America was due to their dumping of cars into the American market.  They sold cars cheaper in the US than Japan and were forced into building plants here.  I have owned a three Hondas, and love them.  I don't really care where it's made, just don't break down on me.

I had a 1993 Ranger that I used to drive for work.  I finally sold it after drive over 408,000 miles on the 4.0L engine.  The truck never used oil, it just needed new bushings in the front suspension.  It had a clutch and manual transmission (replaced both 3 times) designed by Mazda that sucked.  I had to replace the water pump and radiator after 300,000 miles.  I replaced 3 exhaust systems, 5 sets of tires (got 93K out of a set of Goodyears without rotating them), and 4 sets of brakes.

My heart still yearns for a Mustang though.

  11. I've been through several accidents just like yours.  Like the others have stated, let your insurance company handle the mess.  That is what you pay them for.  Do you know what insurance company the other driver had?  Some cheap companies are really difficult to deal with, which is another reason to let your insurance deal with the mess.  On the depreciation of your car, I know it sucks, but you probably won't get a dime unless you sue.  Maybe you can get a 2015 Mustang while yours is in the shop!!!
