  1. HB390 passed and tabled.
  2. they need to go after the definition of what constitutes "loaded". that is what he was after, he just went about it in the wrong way.
  3. HB390 rolled to the hill of the calendar.
  4. HB 70 up now passed with the 1st amendment.
  5. HB46 by Evans with passed with no amendments. HOLY **** Naifeh voted for this, voicing concerns over the outdated DOT video we all had to watch on gun safety.
  6. 14 15 16 17 18 and 19 adopted and tabled by majority so far.
  7. what numbers are you specificalyl wanting to know about?
  8. clear as a bell on my end.
  9. procrastination at its best.
  10. unless the sign was specific with the proper posting per TN law, just carry on and keep it to yourself. i have never seen that BS sign at any Bi-Lo. remember, the sign has got to be what the law says. just a no weapon or a gun with the slash through it does not mean anything. it does not mean they might not say anything if your discovered to be carrying. all they can do is ask you to leave and at that point, your ass better be out the door yesterday.
  11. and for the 34645724572457245rd time, in tennessee, it is not a ccw or ccp or chl. it is a HCP or handgun carry permit.
  12. call where ever you took the class. when i got my certificate after the class, the instructor said that if any of us ran into some red tape and ran past the 6 months date for the certificate, to call her and she would redo the certificate for a small fee just as long as we had the one that came from her. it wont hurt, what are they going to tell you.....no? it might work. give it a shot. just make the sob story good so it makes you look good hahahaha good luck.
  13. the thing that gets me and the better half and i talked about it is the close proximity to illinois and me not having a vehicle there and not wanting to leave a gun in the hotel room, i dont think i am going to go that route. the danger of the possibility of practicing driving in chicago or anywhere in illinois is not a good idea carrying a gun. not in a truck where you cant have a locking safe of some sort for interstate travel per the fed government.
  14. concealed means concealed =)
  15. yeah, dont remind me of the guy that went nuts on one about a year ago. that is just plain crazy.
  16. Regarding Greyhound's firearms policy: Prohibited Items for Checked Baggage <====that is in checked baggage. would that apply to carrying it concealed and keeping your mouth shut? i could see if you were trying to carry in a bag to be loaded as cargo.
  17. i might be going to a CDL training school in Gary Indiana. the company that is taking care of the training pays for the trip to Gary indiana, lodging and all the little what not items. i know my TN permit is good in indiana and kentucky, but what are the laws if any about carrying on a greyhound bus between Chattanooga TN and Gary Indiana?
  18. what are they trying to pass todaY?
  19. the 11pm in bars is BS. id rather leave it totally off limits than to have a time limit imposed.
  20. police scanners per say are not illegal last time i checked per Tennessee state law, but i believe it is up to the cities and municipalities to enact local laws on that. i could be wrong now, but years ago i used to ride around with one in the car and was never given any questions about the scanner. i dont know about other cities in TN, but the scanner i would have to buy to track the Chattanooga police and fire costs about 500 bucks (that is what radio shack said, i never investigated futher). i dont give a flying you know what about what the cops are doing to want to spend that much money on a scanner.
  21. how much does it cost to go in and look around? id love to check out a show. cant buy crap now that im unemployed :|
  22. walmart is still cheaper of you can find the ammo your looking for. i bought 500 rounds of blazer .40 fmj last month at a walmart for 137 bucks with tax.
