That Pelican case looks pretty nifty. I've been using a hard plastic pint-size ice cream container. BiLo sells this fancy ice cream (wife says it's gelato) in a sturdy screw top container that holds a 550 count brick of .22 perfectly. The gelato ain't too shabby either...

I've had a CS Trench Hawk for awhile. I like most things about it, but I feel the haft is a bit too long (totally subjective) and more than a bit large in diameter (also subjective) and slippery (objective fact). I stippled the handle with a soldering iron, but it's still long and chunky, so I bought a Colt X-1. I didn't expect much for $25 at SMKW, but I REALLY like the X-1. I still plan to try out an M48. My buddy has a SOG, but I don't care for the head shape at all.

  I hear you. M&P 9c is my off-duty carry gun. I seem to be shooting my M&P 15-22 every time I head for the range. My VTAC AR isn't my primary - but I like the heck out of it. Of course, all my double action revolvers are S&W...   Probably going to have to add one of these 308s soon.
