    Levergun fever...

I took the plunge earlier this year and got a Chapparel 1873 with a 24" barrel in 38/357. The 38 loads shot like a 22lr and the 357 shot like an AR15 (recoil-wise). The only issue I had was that it would rupture 38 blazer cases and then it ruptured a 357 brass round. I sent it back under warranty and now I am waiting for the replacement to be shipped. I definitely recommend 38/357.
  3. Why carry if you do not have a round chambered? I always carry with a chambered round!
  4. I'm jealous! Wish I were there to enjoy it instead of being in Canada working on a project!
  5. She used to be REAL hot, now her glory days have passed her by.

  7. I use a "blend" I stagger 1 230 grain ball, 1 230 grain Gold Dot.
  8. Tonight is Bud Light, with Jack Daniels Black for backup!
  9. 1911............................over 90 years and still going STRONG!
  10. +1 Everything is as advertised............never a problem!
  11. I'm wanting an 1873 lever action in 38/357 and cannot decide between the 20" barrel and the 24" barrel. I think the 24" is better looking, but since I will use it for plinking, would I be satisfied with the 20"? Also, is any one brand better than another? Thanks for the replies!
