    Well guys, this platform has intrigued me for a good while and I finally scraped together the funds for one. Here she is. Glass and bipod will be different.

    Any mil spec RIFLE length buffer tube will work. You also need RIFLE length spring and buffer.    JP makes good springs.

    I've been curious about the Desert Tactical Arms platform for a while now. Does anyone have one of these?

    Those complete uppers from RRA are shooters. I believe they guarantee 1" with most of them. Drop some reduced power springs or decent trigger should help your groups. Nice job on the first one.

    That's a beautiful piece. Looks like a rem 700 aac in AICS 1.5. Why go cheap on the glass though?

    It's a 308 so doubtful on the dime at a mile. They guarantee these guns to shoot 3/8 or better with match ammo though. That stock is close to $1000 and the scope is $2500. That's a nice piece for sure.

    It was busier than I anticipated. Saw plenty of 22lr ammo at $6 for 50 or $40 for 333 or similar. Most 9mm was $20 a box. Picked up some IMR powder in 8lb package for normal now pricing.

    I tested the sparrow yesterday and am picking it up. Having difficulty locating a yhm ti phantom anywhere locally though.
