  1. Well Gutterboy, I am glad you finally got yours! It is about time for sure so congrats and how was that trip to Wally World?
  2. Brandon, I am not sure about the 642 but I had the 640 and I hated the trigger pull, I ended up having a trigger job done on it and it helped but after shooting my Glock I ended up trading the 640 on something else.
  3. Yep, I am right handed and it is my middle finger that flips the lock. The holster is really neat, anyone that might be interested should find one in a store somewhere and try it out. I am set, it will be my main holster. I am pleased as punch to have found it! Two more pictures of me flipping the lock to pull the Glock out.
  4. I agree, the lock is great! The gun is in there secure and that is how I like it and it is easy to learn to press that release and get the gun. I have no complaints at all about this holster, all the times I have been frustrated because I couldn't figure out what to get or try has been worth the effort to get to this holster. Thanks for the heads up on the lint, I will pick me up a can of air so I will be ready when it needs blown out.
  5. Farnsworth Firearms is in or very near Vonore I think. I went with her but I can't say exactly, it is a little past Madisonville I know. Here it is in the list of gun shops. http://www.tngunowners.com/dynamics/showentry.php?e=51&catid=3
  6. I am sorry to tell you this but Da'Kari went huntin today and well..... she found herself a mon-keeeeeee. She wanted me to tell you that it's not nearly as exciting as an Evil SQ but that it was still good! She wanted me to also tell you that she is sorry that she chewed up Jude's mon-keeeee and she will try not to do things like this again. If you have a weak stomach then please don't look but she ummm, she pulled the brains out of the mon-keeeeeee!
  7. dralarms, she got it at Farnsworth.
  8. I got a leather Bianchi Snaplok for my Glock 26 and I LOVE it!!! I have tried it different ways and so far I like it on my back, either close to the SOB or on the hip. I can wear a tank top and a button down cotton shirt and it covers well. Here are pictures of it. I am tickled that I found something that works for me finally. It is secure by the snaplok that I can use a finger to release and auto retention. And to make matters even better, my CZ 75D PCR fits in it also!!!!! Hip Side Small of back
  9. Yes on the company!! NOOO to creeps that follow you around. Now you won't have to be afraid going to your car at night. Always be alert and aware of what is going on around you, that is the one of the best ways to stay safe.
  10. YIPEE, I am glad you got it all, now you need a nice holster and you will be good to go!
  11. My husband got his HCP last Monday and he thinks maybe he should go ahead and put in for his renewel now ROFL
  12. dralarms, he stayed in the back around the guns most of the time, he looks to be in his forties best I can remember and yes I would say is he is trim, he has short dark hair. He doesn't "physically" have a long face LOL but he sure did look like he is mad at the world.
  13. I don't need to justify Mike, I was trying to explain what I mean since "some" people don't understand simple things and accuse others of making fun. Sorry but IMO when someone has a long face it means they are miserable or mad or pouty, so long face = mule face. I didn't mean his physical appearance was mule faced, but whatever, you can believe whatever you want, you do anyway. Have at it.
  14. Gee whiz Mike, I am not saying anyone looked like a mule as far as their physical appearance, I mean they have a long face like they are bored, mad, depressed and definitely don't want to be there and sure as heck are not going to help someone. In other words they look like they are chewing soured oats! I would NOT ever make fun of someone's physical appearance. I sure have no right to make fun of anyone when I am just a plain jane myself and definitely nothing to be proud of.
  15. Warbird, I am sure that must have been very difficult to see a friend die. My 31 year old son rides and of course as his mother I worry about him.
  16. The guy at Legends with the mule face is one of the middle aged guys, I don't l know his name. He is slim to medium build and what I meant by that is that he looked like he had eaten sour oats, like he was mad at the world. Also, the gray haired man you are talking about had a mule face too now that I think about it LOL. I think the All American Gun Shop will be good once it gets to open its door officially, I have been in there and talked to Dennis a few times and I really like him, he is friendly and has ordered some good stuff if he can ever get it officially opened and going, I can't wait to see some guns, right now he has holsters and things but can't put out the guns yet. He actually joined TGO not long ago as "allamericangunshop" so hopefully he will join in and start posting.
  17. That is cool Jason that you two took the class together, maybe that is a way to get my husband in the mood for a bike LOL. ZZRguy, we have been on the Tail of the Dragon in an automobile and it looks like it would be a lot of fun on a bike. Thanks so much for the pics of the course and you and your wife on the bikes too. I talked to a guy today at a motorcycle shop and he gave me info on one of the courses. I got an application but unless hubby agrees to get the bike then I am not sure I will bother with it because I know what will happen, I will take the course and I will want a bike and then I will have to pout and he will get it for me grudgingly and I don't want that, I want him to be excited and want it too. Just wait til my daughter comes home from camping and see's this thread, she will pass out ROFL. I have always tried to steer my kids away from motorcycles. Well not really though, they had dirt bikes when they were kids, but it is the street bikes I have always hated because of the drivers in cars.
  18. Congrats Valkyrie on your new addition and congrats Verbal on having a wife that enjoys sharing the range with you. My husband and I enjoy shooting together also!
  19. Eddie, I never had the pleasure of meeting Misty but I could tell by her posts that she was a wonderful and friendly person. I am sorry for your loss, may God be with you and comfort you and your families through this sad time.
  20. I would love to. I would love to get a Yamaha 250, that is probably about all I could hold up ROFL. I used to ride one when I was in my twenties up and down the road for fun with a friend on the back but everytime we would stop I dropped it ROFL, but it was a big heavy sucker. My husband isn't liking the fact that I want a motorcycle. Hey, we only live once right? As he says when I say I am afraid of airplanes "you will go when it's your time." Soooooooooo, wouldn't it be fun to ride to the mountains on a bike on the weekend and camp. Or ride through Caves Cove. I guess though that mine and his biggest fear is other drivers.
  21. I just attended two graduations this year, my daughters here in TN and my stepsons in Florida. Both times there was clapping and yelling as someones child walked across stage for their diploma. Parents are proud of their children and though I don't think people should drag it out, I do think there is nothing wrong with showing a little excitement. I clapped and yelled for both of our graduates, so I guess I was one of those rude people but I was among the masses. I am certainly glad I didn't get prosecuted for it. LOL
