Hmmmm....they just ran the segment again. According to the video in the website they were going to show viewer opinions on the 9:00 broadcast, but for some reason they didn't. Wonder if it was because my pro view was the only comment posted on their website?

I agree....an e-mail asking about when it may be heard or what is the status may be good....but no need to be sarcastic/confrontational/rude to him. I would suggest keeping a watch on the Senate Schedule and see if it is on the calendar for Thursday when it is published.

Well not that I want anything to take that long...at least we know the Senate will be in session till May 28th....

If I remember right...Sen Jackson's son posted on here that Sen Jackson could bring it up at anytime. The reason he didn't last week was because the Senate adjourned before the House brought it up.

The session doesn't start till 5:00pm (Central) You can use Tennessee General Assembly::Streaming Video to view it when it gets a bit closer

I tend to more agree with the above. I don't think on how he may or may not vote on gun bills was even really discussed when he was elected to speaker. I'm glad the criticism of how he got to his post affect the actions he has taken since getting there as far as gun bills go. I'm also glad that he has seemed to take an overall pro stance in votes and committee assignments. But how he got there was still not the cleanest play in the book.
