  1. Welcome
  2. Good deal...I have been looking for some good, easy to use, cheap image software. Could you use the Scheduled Task to run DriveImage XML?
  3. Added HB0359/SB0272 Firearms and Ammunition - As introduced, makes exception to the prohibition against possessing firearm while traversing public hunting or wildlife management areas inhabited by big game if firearm possessed is a handgun and person has valid handgun carry permit. SB0262 Handgun Permits - As introduced, authorizes person with handgun carry permit to possess firearm in local, state, or federal parks or in a refuge, public hunting area, wildlife management area, or on national forest land. SB0263 Firearms and Ammunition - As introduced, allows probation and parole officers with valid handgun permit to carry handgun under same circumstances as law enforcement officers and allows board to require additional training if they carry during employment. 4. Welcome

  6. I don't think Dave is opposed to carry in restaraunts, just a HCP holder being allowed to drink while in there and armed.
  7. You've got it. But that's the problem.... the bills that have been introduced say 60% or more from food instead of 40$ or less from alcohol.
  8. I'm still with ya
  9. No problem I can see. In the user Control Panel (CP), > Edit Options > Thread Display Options Any user can limit the size of pictures displayed in threads for themselves
  10. I think I get what you are saying. The trouble is, the bills that are currently introduced say a place must make 60% revenue from food sales. While a bowling alley would make 40% or less of sales in alcohol, the other 60% is mostly made from other things besides food. Not so sure if I was clear now....lol
  11. That's all I was saying.....
  12. Threads merged and cleaned.
  13. Welcome
  14. First let me say I have NO love for the Brady Campaign. I think they are just as radical as PETA and other crazy orginizations. But... I don't think in anyway James Brady took a bullet on purpose. Hinkley was firing quick and in the general direction of Regan, and Brady just go hit. Also, and more importantly, even with what I said above, I think it is sick to possibly take joy in this man's death and/or feel disappointment because he is not. ....and not sure what line of thinking would lead anyone to believe that his death would slow down his wife or the Brady Campaign any.
  15. You are right, beer with less than 5% alcohol. See TN AG opinion 00-031 However the law has changed since that opinion was issued. In 2001 HB0227/SB0193 passed which changed 39-17-1305. It used to say "liquor, wine, or other alcoholic beverages" But now it says "liquor, wine or other alcoholic beverages, as defined in § 57-3-101(a)(1)(A), or beer, as defined in § 57-6-102(1),"
  16. WOW!!! ...what a really great bill SB0211 is. Not only does it allow those with a HCP to carry in Public Parks (and the rest of the places in 39-17-1311) it says 39-17-1359 would not apply to those places so the state or local goverments could not post a park. It also, like another bill, would allow handgun carry, by those with a permit, while hunting.
  17. New bill added..... SB0211 Handgun Permits - As introduced, exempts holder of handgun carry permit from prohibitions against carrying a firearm in any public park, playground, civic center, or other public recreational area or facility, carrying weapon in areas inhabited by big game, and possessing firearm while bow hunting.
  18. Welcome
  19. That is my understanding as well. It must be original documents and they will not be mailed back. Unless it is extremely inconvenient, I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't renew in person anyway. It is the one way to know you will still be able to carry no matter how long it takes before the new permit is sent to you.
  20. I have used Smart FTP to upload files to my ISP. http://www.smartftp.com/
  21. That would be good... I'll be at work and during the day they restrict the bandwidth, usually no streaming audio or video allowed.
  22. She is correct. First time was for proof of age. Due to a new law effective July 1, 2005 it now has to be show as proof of citizenship. After showing it this time, it will not be required for this purpose again. I guess the first time it probably wasn't recorded anywhere that your birth certificate was used to prove your age as opposed to some other document, so now we have to show it again.
  23. That's pretty much it exactly....
  24. Welcome
