Admit It -- Who's Waiting In Line Tonight for BF3?
IggyBcool replied to xRUSTYx's topic in General Chat
I got it yesterday, while fun..I'm a little disappointed. The server is HORRIBLE. I was disconnected from almost every session and a lot of times it wouldn't even let me connect. I know its not my internet causing the problem. Its def. a lot different than MWF and after playing this, I think I'm still partial to MWF. Oh well. The campaign is still fun as hell though. -
I just started a new Private Security Company

Montgomery AL....That explains it all. -
Wonder how long before Zombies will be politically incorrect.

There really is a LOT of grey area. I guess my main concern on the first post was. I wasn't trying to brake check him as in piss him off, but as in make the lights come on so he will get off of my ass so I could slow down and get over because we were already doing 80 on the freeway and there was several cars in front and in the other lane so there was no point in doing 100 so I could pass them. Then the whole swerving at me, trying to actually hit me and force me off the road, getting in front of me and slamming on your brakes so I'll hit him and force me to stop. To me, that puts me in fear of my life from him endangering my life because like I said what if he hits me and I head on a tree/car or he hits me and my car rolls 4 times. Its not like I intentionally wanted to screw with the guy, but in the end he got what he deserved. Second scenario. I remember from the CCW the guy saying just because you're going to get in a fight you cant justify drawing your weapon..But I see when three ghetto gangster wanna-be's all coming at my vehicle I get the sense that they're not going to want to have a cup of coffee and smack a couple of times on my arm...that they ALL have the intent of doing work and seriously harming me.

No, no. But yes, I would not get involved as a 3rd party. I was refering to first person senario. If that were to happen to me, if I was that guy getting chased down by 3 guys.

Admit It -- Who's Waiting In Line Tonight for BF3?

Thinking about getting it.. How do you guys like it so far? How realistic does it seem? Is there anyway for two people to play on split screen whether its some kind of offline training or online? I ask because if I get BF and there is no way to have any split screen, then I'm going to have to put up with some flak from the lady because she doesn't want to just sit and watch...she actually semi enjoys blasting some zombies and playing multiplayer some times. -
Correct. But the way I see it is if someone is chasing me down, trying to ram me, trying to run me off the road, that is to me possible death i.e. hitting me and I run head on in to traffic, or in to a pole or tree, ect ect. Then to stop and approach me after that. As to the other case, I feel like that would be justifiable. Its three against one. Who knows what may happen with three of them attacking you at the same time. God knows what may happen to you with three of them after you are unconscious. In all of the cases provided, not actually discharging but showing that you have felt in fear for you life for you to actually draw in hopes that it ceases the actions.

Two things going against me. My wallet wont let me, and the lady wont let me. And by the wallet, I mean lady. -

I honestly cant decide if I want to get this or MWF3.. Both look a lot of fun, but I love MWF. -
Why would you have to unconceal if they don't know you're concealed?

This happened to me a while back when I was 18 which wasn't a big deal because I was in the gym a lot training and was actually training for a fight at the time, how ever.. I was a victim of road rage. A guy chased me down after literally riding my butt about 6 inches from my bumper and I gave him a slight brake tap to get him to back off so I could get over. He started swerving at me trying to run me off the road and everything else in between. We came to a red light and he got in front of me and blocked me in while I was on the phone with 911 and he took a couple of swings through the window and landed one because I was caught up in the seatbelt. After I got out of the car I got a solid one down the middle on him, doubled him, and then choked him with his own arm and then for good measures I choked him completely out with a guillotine. Now I'm not trying to sound like billy badass, because I was actually a pretty scared. I didn't know if he had a gun or was going to stab me or what. Would this have been justifyable if I would have been carrying to at least draw my weapon? Another case. I was at work and saw a car come flying through the parking lot with another car hot on his trail. Long story short he was a victim of road rage as well. When the car finally blocked him in, there was three people getting out of the car approaching him and didn't look too nice. But the cops showed up almost immediately after they got out of the car. My question is if the cops wouldn't have been so close behind, things would have turned really ugly really fast for the poor guy. If my case wouldn't justify drawing, would this case?

I currently have a G30 with a crossbreed supertuck. How is say a full size or compact m&p for daily carry? I had a m&p full size a while back but sold it. I'm really looking to get in to another one or I think I might be able to trade the G30 for my old one. Does anyone have a M&P45 in full and in compact that has a supertuck? How does it feel? /endthreadjack. Sorry I didn't want to start another thread based on pretty much the same topic.

Well I just spent 3 hours at the DMV. DMV and instructor said depends on how squeaky you are. Usually about 10-20 days if you're clean clean.

My neighbor recently got a new dog which they have been keeping outside. It is probably about a year old lab. Anyways, this dog squeels and cries all day, all night long. I mean to tell you, its not just a little whimper, but it sounds like it is dying or like a small child is screaming. Long story short, its freaking loud and can be heard throughout the whole neighborhood and is waking us up at night. Any ideas on what we can do before I lose it?

This is very interesting.. I honestly would have never thought of this. So I'm actually kind of confused. During winter months and heavy clothing, would it be better to have a faster FPS round such as like a 9mm or 357? I have always sworn by .45 but after reading that article, it seemed like the .45 JPH fell short to the FMJ. I still plan on carrying a .45 during the winter months, but I'm guessing it will be in FMJ now. Or correct me if I'm backasswards.

I think I'll get a box or two when I have some more money to spend. Probably will get a box for actual use and then have a couple of boxes sitting on the shelf just for chuckles.

Finally, she went and applied for permit

I wish I could talk my fiance in to going and getting hers. Since shes 105lbs soaking wet, very pretty, and in no way could really protect herself. Just would give me a lot of peace of mind knowing if she did that she could at least defend herself. But unfortunately she grew up in a home that didn't have guns and guns scare her. She doesn't mind shooting mine or being around me when I shoot, but the idea of carrying scares her. Guess practice practice practice. -
Lol whats up with the wacky waving inflatable flailing arm tube man? From what I saw it was what I wanted, pretty much the same box from what it appeared and I couldn't tell by judging the weight because there was other items in the same bag. Oh well live and learn I guess.
-
No kidding. Been there done that.
-
The only reason that I went to Wally World is, there is one that is literally one minute from my house, instead of driving all the way across the county for a box of ammo. I also needed a few other items so it was a lot more convient for just one stop.

Well theres an Academy in Hixson and one next to Hamilton Place.
-
Man I guess theres a lot on here that has been before my time
-
Its so deep in here now that you could do the back stroke through the thread.

I didn't see the box but while he was sticking it in the bag. It was right next to the other package and they looked identical.
