  1. Wasn't sure where to put this so sorry if in wrong place. Only choosing between these two for home defense. Hipoint carbine 9mm with laser or glock 30 with night sights?
  2. As it says, how effective could a 38 special +p on deer under 70 yards? It is over 1200 fps.
  3. Nice pic. do you only have the ramp sight of are you using a peep sight?
  4. Mine are reading glasses but my front my sight I always fuzzy, even in my rifles, so I am looking at a pistol which has the open sights that you can see through the red dot.
  5. Just trying to get a feel for pros and cons of red dot for edc. My front sight has become fuzzy and didn't know if red dots are a viable option?
  6. When you say belly gun does that mean it is not accurate? Have you shot it much and have you had reliability issues?
  7. Which would you rather have? I have heard good things about scc y and the new red dot version. My eyes are getting old enough that the front sights are getting fuzzy.
  8. Anyone got their hands in the New moxie 45 acp?
  9. So... I did so digging in BBI. All are 2 inch barrel. I noticed the 38 special, 357 mag and the 45 acp all run between 750 to 900. So is the 357 still a better choice in that length barrel? Is the 6 shots better to have than a bit bullet??

  12. Just saw a Taurus g2c for $650!?!!
  13. This seems like a way to profit from so many people trying to buy guns! They already charge vendors.
  14. They charge the vendors already. Just trying to make money from the panic buying!?!
  15. doesn't matter to me. I am not paying to send messages to people who don't respond or won't make a deal. Same as paying to go car shopping and talk to the salesman only to find out I didn't want the car. I will just watch for phone numbers or go to the local shop.
  16. Anyone noticed that Arms list is now wanting you to become a paying monthly member to even contact a seller. What is up with that??
  17. Well I wound up holding in to the charter arms pitbull. I am now Looking for a better set of grips. I need more rounded one's for my arthritis. Any suggestions??
  18. One is eaa and the other (45) is charter.
  19. both are snubnose. I was wondering if the 357 could get enough speed in that short of a barrel.
  20. I am using this when hiking and camping. Both are revolvers so there is no difference except for the 357 is 6 shot and the 45 acp is 5. Which would you carry for hiking in the Tn mountains and weekend camping?
  21. I am in need of a set of over size (or well rounded) grips for my pitbull revolver. My arthritis does not like the narrow ones. Does anyone know what would be a good set to buy?
  22. It is a top eject. I need to find a place to check the serial number to know the age. My old eyes are having trouble bringing in the front sight.
  23. Would you put a red dot or a scope on the Winchester 30-30? this may be for hunting and my eyes are not as good as they were.I have seen both talked about but wondered if people in here had used a dot on theirs?
  24. How would I know if it is stamped? What year models had these?
  25. I have both of these and trying downsize a bit. Winchester is a 1979 with some surface rust. Rossi is almost new. I don't have a revolver in the 44 mag so both are just for hunting and home defense. I think they are both similar in close up power??? thoughts on which to keep.
