How much can you shoot these? Can they handle a lot of shooting?
-
It is about 90% and does not have the original grips. The serial puts it late 60's. For some reason the pics make it look really blue but it is normal.
-
That was supposed to say value. I hate the autocorrect! Lol!
-
Could someone tell me how to determine turnabout of a 60's model Smith model 37 no dash airweight? Someone said there were some made of magnesium instead of aluminum. Is this true?

Thanks everyone.

Just wanting to know what the as means on a Marlin rifle.
-
For shtf and you could only carry one rifle. You do have a 9mm pistol so you have some ammo. which you you carry for buyout if needed and why??
-
As stated, which is better? Hunting at less than 200 using slightly old eyes that need reading glasses.
-
May start a war but which would be the better buy? A Winchester model 94 in 30-30 from 1973 or a Marlin 30-30as which is the lower end version? I have a chance to get either not both.

Can I buy a rifle face to face with a dealer in Ms.? I live in Tn but am traveling down there soon.

If the extractor is needing some help, how hard is it to fix and is parts still found?
-
I haven't seen it first hand. He also has a Remington gamemaster 760 in 30-06 pump. Which shod I trade for?
-
Would you trade a hipoint 9mm carbine with laser and foregrip for a 1950's model savage 110 bolt action 30-06? It has a scope and open sights. I know nothing about the savage rifles of that era.
-
They are not damaged. Just sticks when fired and can't reload well. Have to push the shells in. I have used solvent thinking the chambers were full of powder but no good.
-
Is that just the regular cotton type bore mops?
-
I need my cylinders honed on my 38special. Does anyone know a good gunsmith in the Knoxville area or where I can get a hone.

Is it legal to hunt with this in Tennessee? If so, what distances for a deer and what bullet?
-
Can you put a recoil pad on the shortened stock and still be legal?
-
I went to the Tomato Head in Maryville this weekend and noticed (after I got in) that there was a noticed in the corner of the room. It had all the legal jumbo about Tennessee code and that it was against the law. My question is that it was sitting in the corner of the window facing toward the back. How would I know it is illegal until I am in the room. We had been seated and I was facing the road when I noticed the sign. I guess I would still get in trouble for having my weapon?????

There is a dealer in Vonore that usually has some. You might want to call first though. It is Farnsworth Firearms. I talked with charter arms about the plastic. They said that the 38 specials had polymer backstraps and trigger guards to lower weight but that the big bore like 357 and 44 specials were all metal. They also said that the 9mm rimless revolvers were still in the process of being made but someone in the PR department jumped the gun and announced before they were ready. The gentleman thinks we will see the 9mm next summer then 40 and 45. As a side note, who do you think will pick up distribution for chater since MKS dropped them?

Why does everyone only talk about the 410 shotgun shell being used in gun? I looked at the gun for home defense and everything was about the 410 at 7 yards. Well, I have places in the house that are farther than that. What can someone tell me about the accuracy of the 45 colt round through this gun? I want the smaller gun to carry sometimes. Thanks for the info.
-
I don't have a range real close to shoot both. I am used to carrying about 29 oz all day so that doesn't bother me. I thought it might not be as bad when I carry all day on the horse and I don't think the sound would be near as loud with a big slow bullet.
-
Is your criticism of the Charter about the new guns or the old ones? The difference in the price is so much and I am on a really tight budget right now. What specific negatives are wrong with the Charter or is just that they are not the elite guns? I rarely go into areas which are dangerous so I don't shoot lots of rounds but I don't want to worry over a gun either. I probably will take it horseriding the most so the light weight would be great.

Which has more felt recoil? The Charter arms bulldog 44 special or a Smith snubnose 357 magnun? Looking at buying the 44 but wasn't sure how bad the recoil. HELP!!
