1. The picture is priceless. That guy has that "just kill me" look.
2. For me it's more about the fact that they fired the guy than the policy they have for their employees. It's clear that he was respecting their rules since the gun was in his truck. I mean he more than likely saved a guys life AND the store a few bucks. And sadly you are probably right.
3. I just read the entire thread. Pretty funny stories on there.
4. I know browsing through some old threads from 10 years ago sure is depressing. Ammo was ALOT cheaper. Sure wish I had been into shooting then.
5. Not at my local Walmart. They have had plenty since the election.
6. I never did like going in there but now I have a great reason not to!
7. I wonder if this could actually be Brian on the show posing as Phillip? Maybe that was the point of the "I never give out my name" thing.
8.
huh? list & list managers? i'm either confused, or you're a spammer. Welcome either way!
+1 but welcome!
9. Check out Rick Garcia (rgleather) for a great deal on a great belt.
10. Is that even real? I just don't see how you can jump in a hay baler and live. Pretty sure that one has been doctored a little. Still funny though!
11. If you are carrying the 26 I'd try to get the barrel pointing right in that area just above you butt and behind you hip bone. When I had my Glock 27 it would disappear in that location and i'd forget I had it on. If you haven't already get you a good gun belt. You don't have to get custom leather (it's nice though) but do get one that is rigid enough that you can't bend it. I'd also recommend the Galco King-Tuk for that gun as they can be had for around $50 online and you don't have to wait a month for it to be made. It is fully adjustable for cant and depth.
12. My range in Memphis allows for drawing IF you have taken an advanced handgun class.
13.
I'm still curious what is in the "tea" everybody likes so much in the town. Hasn't been mentioned lately. Or did I miss it?
I don't think that was ever really a plot point. Just seems like something they threw in there and didn't go anywhere with. Who knows though. I second that if Daryl dies I will be severely upset. I will also say that it was odd how submissive Daryl was to Rick when wanting to go see his brother.
14. Axle: "How you doin'? Carol: Nope Refresh my memory but did they hook up in the comics?
15. I also just started trying appendix carry and found it to be uncomfortable even with a small slim firearm (Kel-Tec PF9). Sounds like you are on the right path and can just chalk that one up to a beginner's mistake! Just a suggestion but I would try to get a holster with some forward cant and try it at around 4 o clock. I am assuming that your appendix holster doesn't have any cant. You may like it the best at 3 oclock but my experience has been that it will rub you after a while. Good luck!
16. I agree. There just isn't such thing as a fair fight anymore. It's too much of a gamble to believe there is such a thing. In this instance though with the info provided it does seem as if he reacted with an inappropriate amount of force to a punch in the face.
17. Just wait until "Sons of Guns" gets wind of this. They will be strapping 3 or 4 of them together!
18. But that would require those 200,000 to give up what is theirs! I would also wager that those 200,000 probably have a few unpaid debts as well and don't think they can swing to give away $1.
19. The saddest part about this whole thing is that she got 200,000 signatures asking for the debt to be forgiven. Of course with the state of things now I guess that shouldn't surprise me. Where do these people think this money comes from?
20.
I'm glad it provided a chuckle...that was bestowed on me by another member, quite recently in fact (although I can assure you that he did not intend it to be funny).
Yeah I was keeping up with that thread and remembered it. Sorry to hear that David. My wife's grandpa's estate had been in Limbo now for over a year because some things weren't taken care of before his death. I know how troubling it can be when these things linger on.
21.
After thought I just had, The title is very misleading. They are the mother's debt now. The son doesn't have any debts anymore,
Fixed it
22.
If she really doesn't have the money (rather than just not being willing to do what's necessary to pay the loan) then it's almost a moot issue anyway. All this lender(s) can do is sue and assuming they win they can then seek to place a lien on property (if there is any) and/or try to take wages but in most states, the amount of wages that can be attached is fairly small...plus there are slow-pay motions, etc. that, given the woman's age, seems to me to make it at best problematic for the lender to ever collect much.
Good points. off topic but I just noticed your "name" under you username and it made me chuckle.
23. Well I'll chip in $10 if you guys want to go in together to buy one just to say we shot it. haha.
24. The detail that stuck out to me was how quick the federal loans were forgiven. Wonder who is making up that money? And +1 on the dangers of cosigning.
