I could make some kind of weapon out of it.

I just read that the Shield will be released without the thumb safety. This got me wondering if anyone actually has problems with it accidentally engaging. I don't see how it would be possible on mine but I've seen youtubers complaining about it accidentally coming on. I'd just as soon not have a thumb safety but mine isn't in the way. Is yours?

You're not biased are you?

I believe it is an exact copy of the logo at the top of the site and in that case is a perfect match haha. Looks like the lettering on the bottom is right in line.

Sweet but where's the rest of the knife?
I might as well get off the fence, I'm in for #6. These sure do impact the ol firearm hobby but you don't need to keep feeding it!
That's mostly how I justify it. -

Just got a shield myself and have an alien gear on order. -

Well I think it's obvious but you will need a tuckable holster. There are probably 30 different makers of hybrid holsters. Check out crossbreed, alien gear, white hat, or kholster just to name a few. -
In that case I'll give ya $25 for it. Kidding of course. That's an interesting blade shape.

The good thing about your problem is that you only have two right answers!

Just picked up a shield myself and love it. I'm torn though as I've hade both. The glock platform would probably be what you end up carrying on duty however the shield is my favorite carry gun I've ever owned. Just a matter of compromise really. For carry though id go with the shield. After all they are similar platforms. Point and shoot.

Advice on buying land and building a shop with apartment

I actually like this idea I just haven't checked into the price of these buildings yet. Seems like it would probably more costly than a regular wood garage though. -
Advice on buying land and building a shop with apartment

That's exactly what we have in mind. -
Just curious if any of you guys have done this. Not quite ready to buy yet but can't seem to find just what we are looking for in a house with some land in our price range. We are considering buying a small piece of land 4-10 acres and building a shop with living quarters above. This will get us out of paying rent and also give us time to really nail down how we would like to build our house. The land is the most important part for me. There are lots of hills around these parts and I am wanting a good flat piece of usable land where the dogs can run and the chickens can roam. :pleased: I am hoping if we play our cards right we could find a piece of semi cleared land for $30-$40k. Am I dreaming on this number? I realize we will have to do the septic and water and all that if we get out in the boonies.

YEP! You don't have to look at those funny black lines on the side of the screen when playing older consoles.

I like to mod guitar pedals occasionally. I mostly go by the plans of others but sometimes try different values to see what happens. For any of your guitar guys out there trying to turn a DS-1 into a nice sounding pedal is the ultimate goal for my pedal modding. Usually just changing out to better quality caps helps the sound alot.

Got made at a wedding this past weekend...
maroonandwhite replied to hlb14's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I would wager he was just wondering if you had been drinking. That would be the only reason I'd ask that question then still don't know if I'd bother. I'd probably just watch to see if you were. -
Just received mine today and man is this thing built like a tank. Thick leather and thick kydex. If I run out of ammo I'm pretty sure I could take it off and use it as a club. I don't have the firearm it fits with me so I can't test that out but the molding detail on it is great as well so I'm sure it will fit like a glove. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. They also come very well packaged with a nice alien gear bag, plenty of extra hardware and a sticker. Regarding customer service I couldn't get them on the phone at first but after leaving a message they followed up promptly and were very professional promising it was worth the wait. I can verify it is.

Couple more questions about the Sharp Maker.

Sandvik 13c26 on a Kershaw Groove and Sandvik 14C28N on a Kershaw Skyline are the two I have been trying. -
That tcp is the king of the .380s in my book ( not including the sig of course). Great trigger pull. Just the right size for my hands. And very reliable. I did have to polish the ramp / shoot it a lot to make it feed certain ammo but now the two I own won't be going anywhere.
