  1. Haha Glamping. My inlaws do that too. I do cheat though. I have been know to put a small AC in the tent door or a heater if it's cold.
  2. The first movie cast was great. The second not so much.
  3. Must have been the comics then....or I just dreamed it up.
  4. All good advice. Honestly we probably wouldn't go camping if it were supposed to rain. She is a fair weather camper. We used to own a popup but got rid of it because I hated setting the thing up. We have also had the larger sized tents and had good luck with them. Just never had one of these cheaper/smaller ones before. I don't need anything extremely rugged because it will likely not get used more than 4-5 times a year. I would however want one that wouldn't leak if a decent rain came through. Taped seams may be the remedy for that though. I think I'll swing by academy and check a few out. Can't recall if they have any set up though. I know Bass Pro has the little small models set up sometimes.
  5. Didn't they show a clip of someone reloading one time on the show? Or am I thinking of the comic?
  6. I believe this is just part 3 of that series isn't it?
  7. I'm looking for a 3 season I guess. I won't be camping in extremely cold weather. Probably Aug-Oct.
  8. Nah we just want a cover over our heads. I'd love to just sleep under the stars but the wife won't have that. Plus she doesn't have a nice sleeping bag. Even though she always said mine was a dumb purchase she sure does love using it when the time comes haha.
  9. This isn't necessarily for survival purposes but will double for that if needed. I am looking at getting a new tent so the wife and I can do some weekend camping. I don't want to spend a lot of money at first so lets set my budget at around $150 +/-. I only need room for 2 people so a simple dome tent should do. I am wondering if I should stick with a well know brand such as Coleman or are the bass pro or other brands OK?
  10. Yeah I am getting close to that. The weird thing is that I did have the 25mb plan but was getting 28mb down. Since downgrading to the 3-6mb plan I am only getting 3 something. I thought that odd since I know the line can handle much more. I mostly just surf the web and do the occasional streamed movie so this is plenty for me. Downloads do take a minute longer though.
  11. That's pretty funny! Not very respectful but still funny.
  12. I doubt I'll be here after a nuclear war.
  13. While awesome I can't help but think how awesome a treehouse he could have built with all that time haha. I'd at least have made it big enough so the grow ups could play in it too.
  14. Drove by it a few times but never stopped in. I am interested to know as well. I used to get excited about small shops popping up like that but I've come to expect high prices and low selection. Hope I'm wrong though.
  15. They better pull all the stops in the first episode or I might just bail on them. The last season did nothing for me. Same goes for Mad Men but since it's the last season I will finish it.   Look's like it has potential though. A fresh story away from the prison is what I was hoping for.
  16. Dog one's are the best! Bull riding is my favorite though. George and Garth have the market on bull riding now.
  17. Well the "who's gonna play the Opry?" question has been answered. Whoever the heck wants to!   Think I saw that Lorde was there recently.
  18. That's the crazy thing. They are bundling just the HBO channels with limited basic cable of all things.    I won't complain though I guess. Good movie occasionally.
  19. Talked to another guy at Comcast last night that seemed pretty sharp. He said that all of the packages would include on demand now in most markets as long as you had one of the digital set top boxes. Not including the little adapter boxes. We will see once it comes in though. I don't really care for HBO but it will be nice to see what this Game of Thrones show is all about.
  20. I guess I'll see once it arrives. I was hoping to be able to watch episodes of parks and rec immediately if I missed them live. I know I can always just get hulu but it'd be nice if it's included. Comcast is just so darn complicated.
  21. I just broke down and gave comcast an extra $15 per month to add limited basic cable in HD to my account. For some reason this package comes with HBO and streampix free. OnDemand is not available with limited basic cable based on what they are telling me but streampix is. I'm curious if anyone has streampix and if it's basically the same as OnDemand. These folks on the 800 number don't know their own product!!
  22. The best model for a gun shop / range I PERSONALLY have ever ran across is Range USA in Memphis. They had a very good sandwich shop in the building and on Fridays and Saturdays they did a date night. I think it was around $40-$45 for two meals, a lane rental and two boxes of ammo. My wife and I loved it and they were busy every weekend.
  23. I actually like the trigger on the Kahrs....... I just can't shoot it worth a darn. My fingers are too long and if I use the pad of my thumb I always pulled it off target. Couldn't seem to make that 75 yard shot.   M&P trigger for me all the way!!
