XDm 40

Recommended Posts

I will be purchasing my first hand gun in the next week or so and I had a question. I am looking at getting a XDm40, S&W M&P 40 or possibly the Glock 23, I believe. I called Rangemasters the other day to find out about their classes and asked them about the XDm 40. The guy said that they recommed the XD 40 over the XDm 40 because of a slide issue or something like that.

Have any of you hear of this before? All I see online is how great the XDm series is so this kind of suprised me.

Thanks

XDM has a match grade barrel, better trigger system, and better grip design with interchangeable inserts. It's also 4.5" vs. 4", so it's a nice compromise b/t 5inch and 4inch. I have an XDM .40 and it's awesome. You also get a huge carrying case with a bunch of gear. Great gun, spend the extra $$ for it.

(Both guns are great, so I'm not knocking the standard XD, but the M line adds some great features the standard model doesn't have)
