Airsoft Walther ppq

I recently bought an airsoft gun at academy sports. I live just on the border of Mount Juliet City limits and Wilson county to the point where if we call the cops they don't know whether to send the sheriff or the actual mjpd, and then no one even shows up but MJ animal control does. Just to give you an idea of how on the border I am.

I've searched the government websites for proof, but my husband won't let me shoot my airsoft in the backyard without actual proof. Does anyone know where I can find it.

My buddy lives out side of city limits and he shoots all the time but he is not really close to the road or homes.

We live in mount juliet as well. Just outside the city limits. The line is so close. A stray  bullet will go into the city limits. We are very careful to shoot as to not shoot into city limits. City of mount juliet has an ordinance, no projectile fired inside city limits that includes anything coming out of the end of a barrel or off of bow string or b b gun or sling shot. As long as you are in the county, you will be safe. Do you pay city taxes? If so, you would be deemed in the city limits and cannot fire a projectile.
