The only policy or budget defense of this bill you hear is how we need the tax cuts from 2017 to be made permanent.  While that's a debate worth having, it's also a debate that can be had specific as a bill for it.  Much like the 2017 tax cut was its own legislation, making them permanent can be as well.

To mix them into the BBB was a deliberate choice to try and box in every member of the Republican majority.  Don't vote for this bill and you'll be explaining why you supported the Democrats on a tax hike in the primary next year.  Nevermind what other garbage is in this bill they're being asked to swallow with it.
