I own one and love it. They were imported by Interarms for awhile. Then they were then made for Interarms under license in Alabama by a company called Ranger before S & W took over the manufacturing and redesigned the frame. The S&W ones are reported to have a lot of problems.

Most do not know that Walther has not made a PPK or PPK/s since Nazi Germany.

They were made in France by Manurhin the sent to Germany for proofing after WWII.

I know, it needs to be cleaned. Plus it has scratches all over from it where the previous owner abused it a little.

I have owned both, an Interarms and a S&W. Sold the Interarms years ago, then bought the S&W. Both were/are extremlt acurate for such a short barrel but heavy as lead. I have never had any trouble out of either hower the S&W is out on recall right now.....

Thank you everyone who replied. I ended up with it because it did bite its previous owner (bad dog!)

I'm going to take it to my gunsmith and have him "clean it up" and bedazzle it so I can pretend I'm Jill Bond. Don't worry, no pink grips.

Any idea how much it's worth?

I've got a Walther PP in .32 ACP, that is a Manurhin manufactured pistol. I know someone else who has the Interarms. Prices vary, but GunsAmerica or some similar forum can give you an idea....

Mine has been trouble free!!

I have one that I carry just about everyday as a back up, I have found it to be very accurate and have never had a any problems with it. It is not a lot of fun at the range, but with the scarcity of .380 ammo it's not like you would be able to find any ammo for target shooting .
