Dropping 2 straight to the Brewers.......DAMMIT ! just when I think we're about to get hot and reel off 7 or 8 W's in a row.

This next few games is BIG ! Brewers, Cubs, and Cardinals. I think this stretch will make or break our season and Central Division and Wild Card hopes.

Been to about 1000 Reds games over the years. 30 years in Cincy and Dad who worked for the Reds got us into a lot of games. I haven't paid much attention to baseball since the early 90's but it piques my interest a little now and again still.

That was a good win tonight against a quality ball club. And we needed it ! A good team win...everybody contributed.

Florida helped out by beating the Brew Crew, so we pick up a full game.

Well, my friend, first of all I've never understood how Lou Piniella of all people could get on a guy for throwing a tantrum. Lou used to, on a regular basis, as a player and manager, kick, scream, cuss, throw bats onto the field from the dugout, dig up bases and carry them off, etc. So seems pretty hypocritical to me for him to get mad at MB and call him "a piece of :poop:" for getting pissed and teeing off on the Gatorade cooler.

As for your second point, I give the Cardinals and Brewers their just credit, but there's still nobody in the N.L. (except the Dodgers) running away with a playoff spot. Did anybody foresee the Reds still in the mix come July 4th ?

So let us get everybody healthy, and maybe trade for a right handed bat, and reel off 8 or 9 wins in a row, get some confidence and momentum, and the Redlegs may just break the playoff drought.

I will give the RED's credit. I did not see them hanging around. They could be the next Marlins. I will give credit when credit is due.

Fan here, ever since my first MLB game there in the early 70's. Against the Astros, and I still have the ticket stub. Haven't been to the new park yet.

Agree with an earlier comment, never another Big Red Machine; not in this day of free agents and lack of player loyalty to a team/city.
