Sorry to jump in on your thread but I see you guys are into meeting up and shooting. Great! Hopefully you'll be doing it often. Do you have any ranges that have rifle distances out beyond 400 yards like the one in the link above? Say 1000 yards and beyond? Hope to meet with some of you in the near future.

There are 1000 yard matches held at the TN National Guard Range at AEDC in the Manchester/Tullahoma area.

I don't know when the season starts though.

Only on Ft Campbell and I don't know any of the 5th group guys who could access it. Will ask around though.

We had a good shoot today. Only a few of us made it, but it was fun.

DWarren let me fire his .40cal XD. Nice gun.

WD-40 brought his daughter as did I. The girls spent more time eating ice cream than shooting though. My daughter and I enjoyed meeting the both of them.

My daughter shot my Henry lever action and really like it. She is claiming it as her own now.:blink:

Hopefully next time we can get a big group together. The state has spent some money at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex and the upgrades are very nice. I was impressed with all the new changes, especially the paved road.

Likewise, it was nice meeting you and DWARREN. Good to put a face with a name. Our daughters I think are plotting on a youth hunt together. Something about a girl thing! Can't wait till next time guys!
