What is up with BUDS?

I've bought from Bud's several times. In each case, I've not seen a better advertised price on anything I bought, from anywhere else. Shipping was fast. No problems at all. I like Bud's. I suspect some kind of glitch caused the pricing issue.

I bought two different guns from them.

The first was a rifle rifle which I paid for with a money order and it went without a hitch... awesome price too.

The second was a pistol which I decided to pay for with a personal check. Everything went fine it just took two weeks to get it because of their check policies.

I would recomend them if its a good deal, just use a USPS money order to pay.

Thanks. I wondered what some TGO users experiences were; the bad reviews were maybe just sour grapes on the case of those who wrote them.

I still like going to a gun shop locally, though. Good to get an idea of market prices, though (being a gun shopping web lookey-loo).

Only there wasn’t any sale.

I checked after midnight Friday to see the “unprecedented discounts on select firearms and accessories†… nothing.

I figured they may have had some website problems. So I checked back Saturday and Sunday…. Nothing.

+1 I didn't say any discounts. Although the last gun I bought from them, the M&P for $414 with the Gould and Goodrich leather holster...that arrived 3 days after I bought it. Other times ordering from them has been a nightmare, even pre-Obama.

I did see discounts. The Sig P2022 dropped by $20. The Ruger SP101s dropped by $11. There were several others I noticed, as well.

Sure, the discounts weren't that huge. But from what I understand, the retail market for guns operates on some pretty thin margins already.

The problems with the "inflated" prices happened after they tried resetting the prices to normal.
