We need term limits so our damn senators go to d.c. to get things done in their tenure and their success or failure counts for something that stays with them in their lives and careers when their time comes to an end, instead of setting up shop and spending most of their time trying to ensure they stay senators until they're 100 years old...

Seriously, my political angst is squarely focused on how stupid it is that in our country we are at the mercy of a legislative branch that has no incentive to solve problems and get the job done now, and at the same time has the singular power to enact term limits upon itself which it never will.

Has me thinking all the partisan battle lines in this country just keep us destracted from focusing on that powerful chamber full of do nothings looking out for their own hides!

It's good to see sombody who believes in something bigger than himself... Hope he stays that way.
