Have you read Atlas Shrugged?

I agree, the corporations do have alot of control over the Political System. Anyone can see this with the Bush/Obama Bailouts, but I dont think every politician is corrupt. (EX: Ron Paul and a Few others)

The people have more control over the process of politics than they

realize. Big Pharma and the AARP spent millions, maybe a lot more, and a guy named Brown got elected on the statement that he would filibuster in the Senate. In one of the bluest states.

Every politician has the potential to corrupt the political system. That's why it's our job to get the right one(s) into office and keep his or her feet to the fire. If they don't want to do the job they were paid to do, then get them the hell out. The system needs to be flushed from time to time. It's our job to fight tyranny at the ballot box, first. We should already know about ACORN, SEIU and Saul Alinski. We just have to fight back. They

are cowards.

The few that are ignored at best and made out as mad otherwise.

I believe you are fooling yourself if you think you and I have any say what so ever about who gets to Washington. Brown made it because someone wanted him there. With the way the media and investigative journalism/smear machines which are owned by a handful of corporations work, if they didn't want him elected, he wouldn't be. Hang out at muckety or theyrule dot com for a while and see exactly what the incestuous relationship between current and previous admins and the multi-nats really is.

Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss. The moochers have been in control since that book was written. We are just too blinded with petty politics to understand this.

Its hard to fight at the ballot box when your tax dollars go to the same companies making campaign contributions to candidates that will support their interests. The media sets two cadidates center stage from the beginning and gives them the most coverage leaving no chance for a third. I wasnt the least bit happy with the Rep or Dem choices last election.

I guess I'm fooling myself because you said so. Actually, Dagny didn't have that preference. That was the currency of Galt's Gulch. I imagine she changed after that.

You know the only money Dagny would have wanted was gold, too.

Actually I think I may be fooling myself by thinking I could convince you otherwise. muckety? theyrule dot com? tune up the tin foil. I don't follow your reference to

which book. Atlas Shrugged? What's that got to do with

this? You should get out more often.

Tune up what tinfoil? Reality is stranger than fiction. If you don't catch the reference, that's ok. I reckon by changing to a character attack with tin foil reference that you have it all figured out.

I think we need to give Scott Brown a chance. The fact that the progressive/socialist far left persistently attacked him gives me some hope that he may be a decent person, and I like that he associated himself with the Tea Party movement.
