I would vote for the SAR also. The WASR10 was originally designed for a single stack 10 round magazine, and later modified to accept a normal AK magazine by opening up the magazine hole in the bottom, and installed metal shims inside the mag well to make the 30 rnd magazines fit tight enough (the original WASR10 has no mag well dimples on the receiver). WASR10s are also pretty rough looking. Still, people who have them say they shoot well.

They both will send lead downrange with little ado... but the SAR is a bit prettier, straighter, and less metal fornication has been performed on the reciever. I'd venture to guess that the SAR might be a bit more reliable and accurate, but I've never seen any real evidence of that.
