Hi, I am a member of the NRA, Virginia Citizens Defense League and the Rivanna Rifle and Pistol club. I have a .38/357 Ruger 100, .45 Long Colt with rig in Ruger New Model Blackhawk, Model 23 Glock, Model 700 Remington in 300 Win Mag and 850 Express in 12 gauge. Mostly because Boston T. Party's; The Gun Bible said that's what I needed to survive. Still saving to get my FAL .308

I hunt whatever I can eat and Georgia Pellegrini is my game chef, diva and eye candy honey. She even has her own website. She posts pictures of her hunts on ocassion and then shows you how to fix it with various recipes. She even taught me how to age venison!

I am mainly writing to find out the best place for gun law information on concealed carry. I have a CHP here and it reciprocates with Tennessee. However, laws are far from the same I have read. Is there a summary anywhere of where I cannot carry? I want to go to the BBQ festival in Memphis but can I carry at that event? In Va. we carry in parks, forsests, etc...but Tennessee ain't Virginia and Virginia ain't Tennessee. Any guidance and help would be great.

Welcome. In TN, you cannot carry in court rooms, on school property, any establishment where alcohol is served for on premises consumption, any local parks that are posted as off limits to carry (most major cities have banned carry in local parks), any business that is posted as off limits to carry... that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
