Ammo magazine mantenance?

I tend to have a few sets of magazines. A couple for range (empty), a couple for EDC and extendos for home defense (both always loaded) and a couple spares I keep unloaded.

This is right up there with the same question as 9 mm versus 45. Always keep several new magazine springs for the guns I used most frequently. When you clean your magazines, just simply lay one magazine spring next to a new one and see if there’s any significant shortening. If so, swap them out, it’s cheap maintenance.  As a matter of habit as far as Springs go, I always relieve my trigger spring by dry fire before extended storage in the gun safe.
