I have a small hidden corner of the house where this model would fit. The measurements are just right. They're closing out the stock at the Tractor Supply and have them for $299.oo

This model has the combination lock, blah blah (see web site).

Anybody have any experience with Sentry Safe with the combination vs digital set-up?

my thoughts on new electronics like that, avaoid them, usually what companys get now is the very cheapest stuff they can get from china and that stuff has horrid hit and miss reliability and I have have worked as a elecronics tech for a while. I would rather have mechanical combo and or key anyday, but not a elctronic device to fail and lock you out when u need it

Yes I have one. I like it a lot. Got mine backed into a narrow closet, so the only way to get at it is from the front. I bought mine from a friend in need of cash, gave more than $299...that is a deal. With careful arrangement, you can get a good bit in there. It sure as hell beats nothing. At least a theif will have to "work for it" to get anything! Id get it were I you.

I bought a used 14 gun sentry this weekend. Seems pretty decent. It looks like you can't change the combo without taking the lock apart, but that is just guessing on my part as there is very little documentation on line. Mine is not a fire safe, and it looks like you could probably pry it open with a little time and the right tools.

But then again I just bought it to keep out the smash and grab crackheads. I have only had it for a few days, but don't regret it at all so far.

If I remember correctly, the electronic keypad on mine allows for five different simultaneously recognized combinations. There's the factory setting...one for me...one for the wife...bla-bla-bla. I wish I still had my instruction booklet handy, it's buried amongst the clutter, somewhere...
